Easy Raspberry Lemonade

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2007
FANTASTIC!! Wow this is sooo good and easy. I actually eliminated a cup and a half of water and added in two cups of vodka. Yummy. I also made this is a clear lemonade pitcher and dumped a small batch of raspberries on top along with thin sliced lemons (seeds removed). I had to call a friend to tell her about this recipe. It's nice to be able to make drinks in batch so that you are not mixing the entire time you have company... and even better when the premixed drink is as good as this one. Thanks!!

Grand Marnier Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2007
I love this recipe and will make it again and again. I made the mistake of using a 9x9 baking dish, so my chicken was swimming in sauce, but it was still so great. Can't wait to make again for company. I served it with baked rosemary potato wedges and grilled zucchini.

Banana Muffins I

Reviewed: May 27, 2007
these did not rise very much for me and the flavor was not that great. Luckily I had added about 3/4 t of cinnamon as other reviews had suggested.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: May 16, 2007
i was torn between 3 and 4 stars, so i'll round up. I cooked according to instructions, yet added more tomatoes and i'm glad i did because it was a lot of vinegar. may use 1/2 or a 1/4 of the vinegar next time. other than that it was pretty good. healthy and easy.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2007
This was a big hit at a work/baby shower recently. It made a ton of salsa. I made for a group of 20 and still had a lot left over. I used raspberry preserves, but will probably try another flavor next time. Thanks for the recipe. I like that it is different and that it went over so well.

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2006
I loved this, mostly because it was quick and easy, but it really had a nice fresh taste to it as well. I threw all of the chopped veggies together in a bowl and microwaved them for about a minute and a half to soften them up a bit and blend the flavors. I also eliminated the carrots since they are not my favorite and used half of the package of ranch mix. Lastly, I topped with a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Will definitely make this again. Thanks for the recipe.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
This recipe was excellent. I didn't drain the spinach because it added to the flavor of the filling. To thicken the mixture, I omitted about 2 tablespoons of sour cream and replaced it with cream cheese. Also, I skipped the bacon and seasoned both sides of the chicken with garlic powder and Emeril Essence. Lastly, I added about a fourth a cup of chopped roasted red pepper. This is a keeper. Can't wait to make it for my friends.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2006
Wow!! This recipe was so easy and so great. I cut the bread and egg mixture in half and added a half cup extra cheese. I also left the garlic in the olive oil before adding in the chops. Lastly, I eliminated the parsley and used fresh ground italian seasonings to lightly coat each side. Goes great with Balsalmic Bruschetta, Insalata Caprese II, Sauteed Garlic Asparagus, Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe, and Chocolate Covered Strawberries. All from this site. My boyfriend went on and on about them. Thanks, will make again.

Burrito Pie

This recipe was really good and easy. I used thin strips of chicken, instead of beef, seasoned in garlic powder and Tabasco. I also used 1 can of refried beans instead of 2 and rotel with cilantro and lime juice. Thanks for the recipe.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2006
This was a great recipe. I seasoned the chicken with garlic powder and seasoning salt. I also doubled all ingredients other than the chicken and tortillas, added a teaspoon of minced jalapeno, a tablespoon of minced green chillies, and a side of reduced fat sour cream. Also substituted cilantro for oregano. Will make again. Thanks.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2006
wow, this salad was fantastic. My boyfriend is a salad guru, makes them as a starter for almost every meal, and he was impressed. I seasoned and grilled chicken breast strips in a skillet and added on top after tossing all of the ingredients together. I also used less sugar, left off the poppyseeds, added some sun dried tomato feta cheese, and a little bit of olive oil (slightly less vegetable oil). Will make again and again. Thanks.

Stuffed Mushrooms with Spinach

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
I'd give this more stars if I could. This recipe was fantastic. I used italian sausage instead of bacon to compliment an italian dish that I made and I cant imagine it getting any better than that. This is my favorite appetizer recipe ever. Will make to impress everyone I know, hehehe.

Jimmy Dean Sausage Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: May 13, 2006
After my third attempt at making this, I finally got it right. It is difficult to form the crescent roll triangles into a circle (since they are canned together in a rectanglar shape) so I used a 13x9x.5 cookie sheet. The first time I made it on a flat pizza sheet, and the edge of my crust was not sealed well enough and I had egg leak all over the bottom of my oven. This time, the cookie sheet had just enough of a short edge to give support to the crust. Additionally, I baked this at 350 (vs. 375) for 20-25 mins so that my egg will bake without my crust burning (which was my first trial mishap). Third time is a charm and this was great. I used sausage, onion (skilleted both with garlic powder and tabasco), then topped with the cheeses, sliced mushrooms, and thin sliced tomatoes. Very easy.
