Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 16, 2012
amazing! may use a little less vinegar next time as it was a little sweet, but only a little. this was really good. i may add some snap peas as well, just to mix in a colorful veggie.

Zippy Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
this was SO good. i made it and baked it right away lol. i'm sure overnight would have been better, but it was still amazing. i replaced the swiss cheese with more pepperjack and put half the cheddar on top and half on bottom of the casserole. i also added in one chopped green bell pepper, 1/2 onion chopped, and a few mushrooms chopped. i added all the veggies to the sausage fry pan for about 5 minutes after the meat was already browned. i also added in a 1/2 t of garlic powder to the egg mixture. so good! thanks!

Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
this was AMAZING. so tangy and good! i made a couple of modifications with the sugar and oil ratio. i used 1/4 cup vegetable oil + 1/2 cup of olive oil and only a 1/4 cup of sugar. i don't like seeing sugar in dressings, so i microwaved it for one minute in a microwave save salad dressing container to help meld the flavors and dissolve the sugar. mixed well, allowed to come to room temperature, and chilled for a couple of hours before serving. i made this in the morning and it was super easy and so so good!

Ken's Perfect Hard Boiled Egg (And I Mean Perfect)

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
this was my first attempt at hard boiled eggs and they did indeed turn out "perfect"! i didn't have distilled white vinegar, so i just used what i had on hand and they turned out perfect. recipe aside, ken was right about being careful adding the eggs to the boiled water - the slightest bump/touch against the bottom of the pot and they pop. i used a measuring cup to gently roll/place them into the water. thanks!

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
LOVED this dish. i did as another reviewer suggested - sauteed the curry paste in vegetable oil then added one can of coconut milk and 1/2 cup of 1/2 and 1/2 and 1/2 t of cayenne pepper and 2 T chopped cilantro. i sauteed/browned the pineapple in a small skillet and added it to the dish at the end. my husband is allergic to fish so instead of fish oil i used 2 parts soy sauce to 1 part lime juice. i also used less than a 1/4 cup of sugar. so good!

Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin With Apricot Ginger Glaze

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
wow, this was amazing! what a unique combination of ingredients. this is definitely the spring/summer version of the Quick Savory Cranberry Glazed Pork Loin Roast found on this site. in fact, i don't work a grill, nor did i marinate the meat, so i prepped and cooked it according to the "Quick Savory Cranberry Glazed Pork Loin Roast" directions. it was amazing!

Famous Chicken Francaise

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
this was kinda bland. maybe the chicken needed to be seasoned before floured? not sure if ill make this again, but i prefer more seasoning and it has potential!

Moroccan Tagine

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
this was really good and different. maybe too many chick peas. they kinda got old after a little bit. would love to try another bean, if it still stays true to the dish.

Easy Pizza Sauce I

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
this recipe is pretty good, but i found it quite bland. i doubled up on the oregano and garlic, added a tablespoon of garlic powder and a tablespoon of fresh chopped basil and it was still lacking a bit of flavor. i think it may need a bit of sugar, but i'm not quite sure. this is great as a base sauce.

Cajun Crab Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
this was really good. i think i like the salmon chowder (replace salmon w/ a lighter fish and crab) by KENULIA a little bit better than this recipe. if i could combine the two, that would be perfect. the crab and cream from this recipe and the seasonings, celery, and red potatoes from the other. this was great. thanks for the recipe.
