Rosemary Roasted Turkey

French Toast and Spam Sandwiches

My family loved this! I used my own recipe for french toast which uses only 2 eggs to 1/2 cup milk and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (about 4 slices of bread) Added the fried spam, folded and dipped in syrup! Delicious! Thanks for sharing another tasty way to use good ole fried spam!

Homesteader Cornbread

Delicious cornbread! I too, lost my favorite cornbread recipe and have been trying to find another. Well, I think I may have found it! It's a little sweeter, and very moist...everyone loved it! Like KB of Pantego TX, I mixed the wet ingredients into the dry and let sit for 5min., and used a 12in iron skillet, heated in the pre-heating oven. It gave the bread a really nice crispy crust! Thanks for the great recipe!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

These were delicious! My 13 y.o. daughter, who never tries to cook ANYTHING came home one afternoon and wanted to bake storebought cookie dough, only to find out that it had been in the fridge too long, and gotten dry. She asked for a recipe. I found this one, printed and gave it to her. She made them all by herself. I was really worried about how they would turn out because she wasn't worried at all about being precise with the amounts! LOL! I really believe this is the first time she has EVER made anything with a recipe by herself! They came out wonderfully and she was SO proud of her cookies! Thanks!

Bacon Mushroom Chicken

This was delicious. My family liked it. I had trouble getting the sauce to thicken, but could be because I cooked the mushrooms with the sauce? So, I added a tad of flour to thicken it. Next time I will try NOT putting the mushrooms with the sauce when thickening.

Yummy Pork Chops

AWESOME! What I had on hand was bone-in center cut chops, so used those. My chops were very tender and moist and not dry at all... maybe this was the cure... I mixed up the sauce around lunch time. I put my chops in a gallon-size ziplock bag, poured the sauce in, zipped it up and laid in the fridge and let them marinate, turning the bag over every couple hours until I was ready to cook them. Then put chops in pan and poured the sauce over them. I didnt time it, but they probably cooked an hour or so. I took the lid off after cooking for a while and let the sauce cook down a little. These chops were so juicy and tender they were falling apart! We LOVED them! Thanks for the recipe! Will definately make again and again!

Sausage Crescent Rolls

Absolutely Wonderful! We LOVED it! I will use this recipe a lot. Made this Christmas morning! Thinking of using it for a baby shower I am giving in January. I had no problems at all with dough or leaking or anything! I didn't even find the richness a problem. I used sausage with maple. My daughter said it tasted like a "McGriddle" (which she loves). Using different flavored sausages can make this very versatile (sage, etc.) Thanks for a super-easy, yet wonderful recipe!

Never Enough Green Bean Casserole

Made this for both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. We loved it. Will definatley make again. I used real bacon and about 4 oz. Pepper Jack Velveeta for a little bit of spice. (for the person who said they weren't sure how to measure it... I just guesstimated cutting the loaf.... 1/2 of a 16 oz. loaf is 8 oz. and half of that is 4 oz.)This casserole was really a hit... thanks!

American Frittata

My whole family loved this tasty, easy breakfast. I found the cooking times to be fine. However, I cooked the cubed potatoes in a covered dish in the microwave for 10 minutes and used smoked sausage, cubed instead of ham. It did need a bit more seasoning. Next time I'll try adding in some other ingredients. Rotel tomoates and green chiles might even add a nice touch!

Raspberry Jalapeno Jelly

Great Jelly recipe! I love it! I made this in December and put the jars in baskets that I made up as gifts. The people who got them also loved the jelly and wanted the recipe! I did find that the jelly went a little farther than the recipe indicated... I filled three 8 oz. jars instead of just two!

Blueberry Muffins I

I wanted to make Mini-muffins and used this recipe. I don't know if perhaps I did something wrong or what, but they did not come out good at all. They were very dry, and not sweet enough. Not cake-like at all. Nobody liked them and we ended up thowing away the whole batch.

Banana Pudding I

This recipe was great! My whole family loved it. Since there didn't seem to be enough pudding mixture I used an 8x8 baking dish. And also ended up using 4 bananas to complete two layers (maybe my nanas were small) It was a winner, and we will use it again and again. Thanks

Succulent Ribeye and Peppers

We loved it! It was so tender and juicy. I used the whole package of fajita seasoning. After sprinkling on both sides of steaks, I placed the steaks in a baking dish, covered with foil and put in the oven on 250° for about 2 to 3 hours. We will be having in again this week. Thanks for sharing!

Tina's Fruit Dip

I decided on the spur of the moment, as I sliced an apple, that I would like a dip to go with it. I found this one. The 4 ingredients were things that I always have on hand, and it was oh so delicious and easy to make! We loved it! It was NOT sour, and NOT runny. However, if you are one who likes it thicker, chilling it thickens it up a good bit. We like it both ways. I had some left over, and the next day I added a couple tablespoons of peanut butter to it, and that was yummy also and made it thicker. I will use this one again, and again. Thanks for sharing!
