Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

It was just ok, but too many tomatoes and not enough spices. The sauce was a bit thin and just tasted like tomato water. I'll add some more basil and Italian seasoning next time and only use 1 can of peeled tomatoes. I can't speak for the meatballs cause I didn't make those.

Fried Cabbage and Egg Noodles

The cabbage couldn't brown cause of all the butter and the overall outcome was very bland tasting. I added soy sauce to mine for flavor but then it just tasted like an Asian dish. Also, this makes A TON - a regular skillet isn't big enough (I had to use a wok), so I would recommend cutting the recipe in half.

Vegetarian Gravy

HUGE HIT! This bold tasting gravy really is magnificent. Even my meat-eating bf complimented on how good it tasted. It did turn out a bit too thick though, but that was nothing that some more broth couldn't take care of. I will be making this every year for Thanksgiving from now on.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

I think 4 hours was a bit too long to cook the stuffing. Had I trusted my instincts and stopped at 3 hours then I'm sure I would have loved it and graded it with 5 stars, but I stuck to my rule of never tweaking a recipe on the first try. It tasted a bit overcooked and the bread crumbs turned into mush even though I only used not even half of the broth this recipe called for. I'll try again next time and cook it for less time and hopefully it'll be a hit.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

These really are the best sugar cookies. They turned out to be very soft and flavorful just like the kind you buy at a bakery in a supermarket. This is very easy to make, even for those that are inexperienced with baking. Honestly, you can't go wrong with this recipe. I stopped making Xmas cookies because they never turned out but now that I found this recipe, I will make them every December from here on out.

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Simply amazing. At first I thought it would be too sweet because I didn't add the anchovy paste, but after I cooked the pizza it tasted incredible. I will try the paste next time but I already rate this 5 stars. A+!

Easy to make and the taste is outstanding. They're VERY rich and surgary though, so good luck trying to finish them all if there's not a lot of people to feed.

Apple Crumb Pie

This was my first time making a pie and I was a little intimidated. But the recipe was a breeze. The pie tasted amazing and I was surprised how well it turned out. Make sure you eat in within a day or two, otherwise it will become soggy and wet.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Very plain tasting. I followed the recipe exactly and thought it needed much more flavor. It was a good base recipe so feel free to experiment and add more spices of your own.
