Chicken and Sausage with Bowties

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2013
I thought the recipe was wonderful. Mixing the pasta and sauce before serving helped with absorbing the sauce. I will definitely make this recipe again

Glazed Meatballs

These were delicious. I took the advice of others and only used 1/2tsp of allspice and everyone loved them. thought these did end up not staying together too well but it turned into a magnificent sloppy joe.

Worked great in a pinch. Used Thyme and a little sage instead of the savory and worked great.

Savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
I made this recipe for a housewarming party and everyone gobbled it up. When I cooked the stems and green onions I put a clove of garlic in there for flavor and I did add a little sage ( about a 1/4 teaspoon) for flavor as well. I did forget the egg and so it didn't stick too well together but it was still great!!!

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
I took these to a late summer housewarming party and it was a hit. Here are some tips from this recipe that worked for me that I got from other reviewers. Roll the smokies the night before so that the brown sugar can really marinade in. As well I made the dipping sauce of-1/4 cup mayo, 1/4 cup red chili sauce, and a 1/2 cup of brown sugar...it's perfect with them. This will definately be coming back at many other policy

Asian Tuna Patties

This is a very good recipe. I used olive oil because I didn't have any sesame oil and it still turned out great hot or cold.

Very yummy and quite easy to make. I took people suggestions about omitting the honey and doubling the sauce and it was great.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2007
I hate giving this a rating like this because many other people have been so successful with this. I love the Filling, and that cake was ok. Maybe it's because I'm a very novice cook, but my frosting was WATER!!!!!!. I used the heavy cream and the powdered sugar and Kaluha like I was told, and it is a watery substance, ABSOLUTELY NO THICKNESS. I have been waiting for the right time to make this cake and unfortuneately I waited until my B-Day and it's not going to happen. That was a waste of money.

Ranch Crispy Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2007
I loved this recipe!!!! It was simple to make and tasted great. Some people stated that their chicken was dry. I put a very light amount like 1/2 a teaspoon of olive oil in the bread crumb/ranch mix and it kept it nice and moist. Some people also said that it was a bit too salty for them. Ranch is very salty but I didn't find it at all overpowering. This will be kept close to me.

Baked Tofu Bites

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2007
I am very big into following recipes the first time to the letter before making substitutions. Unfortunately I will admit that I didn't have any hot sauce in my house but I used a little bit of Wasabe Paste, and it worked BEAUTIFULLY!!!! I think that the purpose of the liquid smoke for this recipe is to give it a grilled flavor but not have it break apart on a grill. Yes it was a little salty but it tastes great and was great as leftovers as well.

Pam's Glazed Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2007
When I made this recipe my father was watching me and I saw his face and he was getting quite nervous about eating this. But it did turn out quite well. I might try a different glaze but the meatloaf it self was quite yummy.

This was a very good recipe. I forgot to put in the spices and it still turned out great, and tastes better as a leftover.
