Best Lemonade Ever

This recipe is great! I like a little bit of pulp (not too much!) as it makes lemonade feel more homemade. I also had some strawberry daiquiri mix that I added to my glass (approx. 2 tbsp. for a tall glass) that made a delicious strawberry lemonade.

Dave's Low Country Boil

My wife was skeptical of all the great reviews. I managed to talk her into trying it and... Wow! Let me say we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We did about 12 cups of water and 1/4 cup of Old Bay in our 6 quart pot (biggest we had- it worked fine, just be sure and keep an eye on it so it doesn't boil over). I also threw in a little Tony Chachere's cajun seasoning along with the onion and lemon mentioned in previous reviews. We used a pound of sausage, a pound of shrimp, 3 ears of corn cut in half, and six good sized new potatoes. Those ratios came out just perfect for 4 people. We may have overcooked the potatoes slightly but they were still very good. We will definitely be making this again, hopefully with fresh crawfish in there as well.

Pineapple Grilled Pork Chops

As our grill was out of order this weekend I resorted to broiling them in the oven. They turned out great! About 5-8 min per side, just like the recipe says to do on the grill. I caremelized the pineapple in a skillet on high with a little bit of butter and about two tablespoons of brown sugar. It was a hit. Definitely will use this one again.

Chicken Taco Filling

This turned out very well. I made a few alterations: I didn't have time to do it in the crock pot so I boiled the chicken for about 30-45 minutes instead. I used a little extra chicken broth and water and kept the lid on the pot. I shredded the chicken and it was really nice and juicy. I used chicken thighs because I like the flavor a little better than breasts for tacos.
