Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
We make this often at our house. We use turkey sausage. We manipulated it in many ways, using homemade sauce instaed of a jar. Omiting the pepper or onion if there are none in the pantry. The best thing(s) about this recipe is that my kids will always eat it and my husband can throw it together without calling me at work for advice/additional instruction.

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
I love this - it was my soup of winter 2009. I made it 4 or 5 times. I ate it for lunch, for dinner, my husband enjoyed it, even my 6 year old ate it. I follow the recipes almost exclusively. Thanks Beaker!

Emily's Famous Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2004
I tried it with ground turkey. It turned out okay. I didn't have to doctor the recipe to get the right consistancy. My husband kind of liked it. I'm just not sure if we're Sloppy Joe kind of people.

Zucchini Herb Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2004
This is a good recipe overall. My husband liked it. The only change I made was the amount of cheese. I used between 1 and 1.5 cups and that was plenty.

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2004
This recipe was very delicious. I made only two changes, I used oven ready noodles and I left out the rosemary. It turned out really good, but I will try it with the rosemary next time.

Insanely Easy Vegetarian Chili

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2004
This is a delicious and very adaptable recipe. I've fiddled with the amounts and types of vegetables - the mushrooms soak up some of the heat of the chili powder, so you'll get a spicier meal if you omit them. Thank you!

White Chili

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2004
My husband really liked this. I thought it was too watery and a little bland. I suppose I could change the type of salsa I used if I decided to make this again.
