Sylvia's Ribs

Thanks Sylvia for sharing this incredible recipe. Simply put, by far the best I have ever tasted. I only used 6 lbs. of baby back ribs and did not add garlic, my preference. Prepped the ribs, cut each slab into 3 pieces and poured the sauce over them and refrigerated for the next day. I then chose to cook them in my slow cooker on low for 7 hours. So delicious and the meat fell off the bones.

Lemon Fluff Cake

I plan on making this, but first I must let people know that often I log on to a recipe I know I would like. However, I pass them over mainly because of the reviews I read that people review only based on their changes. Simply put, try the recipe, review, if you don't like it, edit with your changes, submit it and wait until it is then selected and added to the new recipes. Seems fair. I know it takes awhile to have your recipe selected, but play fair, do not speed up the process by adding "YOUR" recipe in your review of another member. Just saying!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

I made this today withOUT any changes. None needed! Incredible and sooo easy. I served it with fresh cheese tortellini with broccoli florets added. Delicious. Thank you for this recipe. It is now, and will always be in my rotation.I served this with garlic toast.

Hudson's Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce

I felt I must thank KHUDSON3 for this incredible recipe. I had never tried Tilapia before making this recipe. Soooo good and the dill sauce was among the best I have made. In fact, I use what is left to spoon over Chicken Souvlaki the next day. now that Lent is here, it will remain in rotation for meatless Friday.

Turkey Veggie Meatloaf Cups

Without a doubt, these earned their 5 star staus from us. I last made these three days ago. I make no changes to this recipe. How can you improve on perfection. Reviewers should rate only the recipe as written, not on their changes. If changes are,in fact made, they are reviewing their recipe, not the recipe from amyappleseed. My favorite side with these is a baked sweet potato. Our BBQ sauce of choice is Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory & Brown Sugar.

Bloody Mary Cocktail

I cannot review this recipe as is. I am a U.S. citizen and have had Bloody Mary's. Since moving to Canada (married), I have had Bloddy Caesars, which in my personal taste is better. Following this recipe, replace tomato juice with Clamato juice (Motts). In place of lemon juice, fresh lime juice tastes better in this drink. To rim or not to rim the glass, this is a personal choicI

Salty Dog I

A salty dog has been a favorite. The way I have always had it was with vodka, and instead of putting the salt in the drink, you moisten the rim of the glass and dip it in salt. Refreshing!

Banana Banana Bread

Hello Shelley! I received your recipe for the Banana Banana Bread about two months ago and without a doubt, my husband would eat this every day, if only I had enough overripe bananas to make it at least three times a week. I kid you not. He likes bananas sliced on his cereal, however, I usually buy about 3 pounds at a time and he will ignore them until they are overripe and I, AGAIN, make him your Banana Banana bread. Absolutely the very best banana bread we have ever tasted. The only thing I add is chopped walnuts. Thank you for this recipe. Oh, by the way, I am again making it again for him tomorrow when he comes home from his graveyard shift @ 7:A.M. Marcy M.

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

I often make these cookies for Christmas. They are my daughter's favorite and are absolutely delicious. However, I too have a problem with rolled cookies. I followed instructions from another recipe and shaped the dough into balls about 1 1/2 inch in diameter and dip a small flat bottomed glass into colored sugar and flatten the cookie gently till about 1/4 inch thick and bake as usual. Same wonderful taste, but much easier to make. By the way, I'm eating one right now.
