Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread - Stand Mixer version

WOW! YUM! I don't own a bread machine, so I did this: * Proof one packet of regular yeast with the water and honey for about 8 minutes. * Add the remaining ingredients all at once and knead in stand mixer with the dough hook for another 8-10 minutes, on a medium/low setting. * Oil the bowl and the dough, cover it, and let it rise for an hour in a warm oven. * Punch it down, plop in the loaf pan and rise another 30 minutes. * Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. FANTASTIC bread. Makes a wicket grilled cheese.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

I should rate it 5 stars, but I cut back on the cream to save calories and the flavor was great but it was a "thin" soup. Bet if I had followed the recipe it would have been perfect. I'll be trying this again.

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

DON'T MAKE THIS. It's incredibly delicious and impossible to save for cupcakes. You'll lick the bowl. You'll lick the spoon. You'll lick the cupcakes and have to make more. TIP: put the leftover frosting in the fridge and let it harden. Makes delicious fudge. :)

Chicken Fried Chicken

This is good, quick, and easy, but bland. Reading other reviews, I had added lots of spices, but it still wasn't enough. Next time, I'll try to figure out how to up the flavorings a LOT.

Blueberry Pie

This was awesome. I did up the blueberries to 3 pints (6 cups), because the crust just didn't look "full". I used the 5 Tbsp of cornstarch like the other reviews recommended. I kept the sugar the same and the same baking time. It was really delicious. It was a little runny, but we just kept that sauce for ice cream topping!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Thank goodness this site has a converter on it! I downsized the amount for 12 people and got delicious results! I even had a couple of folks ask for the recipe! (My ego loves being able to say "I made it!")
