Sopapilla Cheesecake

This is an excellent dessert. Try using Mexican vanilla for a different taste. It's much less expensive than vanilla extract and gives it a truly unique flavor.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Wow! This is awesome. I didn't roll out the crescent rolls - I just mashed the seams together. It was very quick and easy to make and smelled heavenly while baking. As others suggested, I baked about 40 minutes and it was perfection. I couldn't wait until it cooled completely to try it. It was great and I didn't change a thing except the baking time. This will definitely be made the next time I entertain.

Chocolate Cream Pie II

This pie is awesome! I made two and gave one to my next door neighbor because he had done a favor for me. He said it's the best pie he's ever had and it tasted just like his mom's. He said he'll be asking me to make it for him often. I followed other reviewer's advise and increased the cornstarch to 4 tablespoons and reduced the milk to 1 1/2 cups. It was creamy, rich and just perfect! This will definitely go in my saved recipes file.

Chicken Jambalaya I

I've never had jambalaya before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I read the other reviews and this looked like the one to try. I loved it! I always put my own personal touches on recipes and this was no exception. I used a whole chopped onion and the entire can (14.5 ounces) of chicken broth. I also added chopped smoked beef sausage and cooked with the tomatoes, rice and other ingredients. After the rice was tender, I added the chicken which I had boiled and shredded. It was great. Even my brother, who is a picky eater, ate two bowls. Thank you, Suzanne, for a great recipe. It's going in my collection.
