Navy Bean Stew
This stew was a very pleasant surprise for my family. We love hearty soups and stews when the weather turns cold. I was looking for something a little different than our "usuals", and this stew was amazing! The only changes that I made were that I used 1 pound of ground Italian sausage only because I already had it on hand. Also, instead of 2 cups chopped onion, I used 1 cup onion, 1 cup chopped celery. Everything else was exactly as the recipe was written. The seasonings were perfect. My husband, myself and my kids LOVED this stew! Thank you for a great recipe!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
Fantastic Potato Soup! I followed the recipe exact and it turned out great. Family loved it. (I will omit the ham next time, however, at families request.) Some of us added some shredded cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream to our bowls...wonderful!

Potato Soup XI
YUM!!! My husband and I love potato soup and this recipe is probably the best that I've tried. The carrots, onion, and celery really enhance the flavor. The addition of the vinegar seemed a little strange, but I think it is an essential part of why this soup tastes so good! I did add a bit more seasoning--some ground pepper and garlic powder. Like one of the other reviewers, I also used a potato masher to mash up some of the potatoes for an even creamier soup. In addition to serving the soup with the cheese and bacon, I also sprinkled some chopped green onion on top. A deliciously hearty soup!
