Taco Seasoning II

I loved this! My husband is on a low sodium diet so I am always on a mission to find substitutes for high sodium items that 1) actually tastes like the original and 2) is not bland. This is a winner! I made as written with both ground turkey and ground chicken. This, with the 0 sodium taco shells from Whole Market, and I was able to have a tasty meal. You've saved me from bland and I wouldn't be embarrassed to serve this to guests! We thank you.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Thanks for a great smoothie. I took out the sugar and added only half of an individual serving packet of Splenda. Really could do without the sugar if you like raw, unsweetened fruit taste. I was just craving a little sweetness. I did grind the oats first, nice texture. Will make again.

Cinnamon Rolls I

Very good. My first attempt at cinnamon rolls and I was pleased. Didn't change anything but did make them the night before stuck them in the fridge and baked them the next morning, they stayed nice and moist. I just have to learn to cut and roll them more uniformly. They weren't the prettiest but they smelled and tasted great. Thanks for the recipe.

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

As suggested by others we halved the honey and the balsamic vinegar. I don't eat read meat so I am going off what my husband says. He usually drowns everything in A1 but never touched the bottle with this steak. He said it was flavorful and juicy (marinated 6 hours). We used a thin cut ribeye and grilled over charcoal and hickory wood instead of using the liquid smoke. He said I could make the marinade again with only slight alterations. Thanks Angie for a great marinade.

Chicken Chimichangas

Excellent. We leave out the rice and to make it quick use white cheese sauce drizzled over the top instead of the avocado topping. Mmmm.
