Oh-So-Good Chicken

I have made this about 15 times now...and will again and again. Excellent recipe. Excellent as is or I have changed the ratios a little a few times to experiment and had great success.

Eggs Benedict Casserole

This recipe is very good and very easy. I tried it as is and really enjoyed it. Then I did it again with one modification. Whether I make Hollandaise from scratch or a package, I add a little lemon juice. (Typically about 1/2 tsp for a relatively small batch.) It gives it just a little kick.

Hamburger Muffins

I followed the recipe exactly and it was pretty good. I like a little more flavor in my recipes, so I tried it again with just a pinch of oregano and about 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder. It was fantastic.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

This recipe is excellent as is or, for a twist, sprinkle with crushed red pepper to taste. I make a pan of each when I make these. I love them both ways.

Caramel Popcorn Balls

I think you need far more of the syrup. (Don't cut the popcorn. That just doesn't make sense.) To those who it came out brittle, it is a very specific temperature. You cannot hit 239 or 240 or you have a brittle caramel when cooled. I probably hit 237 because I let it touch the bottom of the 238 line. I like gooey popcorn balls. As for the flavor...it was pretty good.

The Best Meatloaf I've Ever Made

Hot Pizza Dip

Tried this tonight. It was fantastic. Did not have the French baguette, so I toasted bagel halves in the oven for 5 minutes then cut them into 1/4 pieces. That was also a great combination.

Bill's Sausage Gravy

I changed the maple sausage to Italian sausage and chorizo. Preferred the Italian. This recipe works well with any preference of sausage.

Quinoa Black Bean Burgers

I finished it...and it was okay at best. I must admit that I have never found a veggie burger that I do like, and only tried this one because on the video and on the recipe it promised to impress carnivores....No carnivore that I know. The rest of my family would give it one star.
