Bob's Habanero Hot Sauce - Liquid Fire

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2015
Awesome hot sauce! We like it really hot so we leave the seeds in 3/4 of the peppers. I use dark brown sugar, replace the molasses with honey, and omit the coriander. Comes out awesome every time!

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2015
Great basic recipe, but needed changes. I used corn tortillas, cream of chicken soup, and replaced the milk with enchilada sauce. I used quite a bit more cheese than called for in the recipe too. They came out very good!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2015
Awesome! As other reviewers recommended, I doubled the topping and used 6 granny smith apples that I mixed with 1/4 tsp of nutmeg. Use 1/4 cup of water or none.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2015
Excellent recipe! Be sure to dredge the chicken in flour first as this helps thicken the sauce. Serve it over white rice for an awesome meal!

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2015
Neither my girlfriend or I had tried Sloppy Joes before this, so I have nothing to compare this to. We're both big fans of Sloppy Joes now! Needless to say I'll be making these again! Thank you!

Sausage Stuffed Jalapenos

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2015
I made these for a cookout and they were a HUGE hit! Based on other reviews, my changes were using 3/4C of cheddar jack and 1/4C of shredded parm, wrapping the jalapenos in bacon, and throwing them in the freezer for ~15 minutes prior to cooking them on a wire rack. I was very impressed with how these came out, and other people who have tried my appetizers (mouthwatering stuffed mushrooms on , spinach dip, etc. from AR) said that these take the cake. These were so good that I was asked to make them again for a cookout next week! Thank you very much for a new staple for social gatherings!

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

Reviewed: May 28, 2015
I'm the kind of guy who doesn't consider a meal to be a meal unless it contains meat, and boy did this recipe change my mind. Even my extremely picky picky girlfriend loved these! I added some diced fresh jalapenos and a dash of cumin while cooking. As many reviewers have already stated, the easiest way to make a quesadilla is to use one tortilla and fold it in half and then just flip it along the fold when you need to (much cleaner that way). Definitely a new go-to vegetarian meal in our house, thank you!

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: May 19, 2015
Excellent base recipe, though I think the ingredient quantities are meant for 2 12" pizza crusts. I cooked a couple of chicken breasts in the oven and then diced them and coated the diced chicken with bbq sauce (to keep the chicken from drying out). I usually use Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Chipotle bbq sauce with this recipe, but I have also used regular bbq sauce mixed with a little bit of hot sauce. Also, I think adding some smoked gouda cheese brings this recipe to the next level! As most reviewers have said, leave the little peppers as a side. Great recipe, thank you!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2014
I made this last night for dinner and we loved it! I doubled all of the ingredients for the sauce except for the ginger root. I chopped up a chicken breast that I cooked in the oven, next time I will definitely add bean sprouts and carrots, maybe even some shrimp. This tasted just like the cheesecake factory, except way healthier (no butter). This sauce would definitely go great on white rice too. This is absolutely a keeper, thank you so much!

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2014
I made these a few days ago for Easter, and people absolutely raved about them! I put the graham crackers (2 sleeves) in the blender and pulsed them into a fine powder, then mixed in the powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl. I melted 1.25 cups of smartbalance with 1 cup of peanut butter on the stove top and added the mixture to the mixing bowl. After stirring everything together I pressed the crust into the bottom of a 7x11" pyrex pan and put it in the fridge for 25 mins as per other reviews. I melted the peanut butter and chocolate chips together in the microwave (Warning: the peanut butter will easily burn, be sure to mix every 25-30 secs or so) and spread the topping on the crust. After returning the pan to the fridge for 10 more minutes I cut them and returned them to the fridge for 15 more minutes. Thank you for the amazing recipe, this is definitely a keeper!

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2014
This was amazing! The only changes I made were using ~11-12 oz of thawed chopped spinach, an 8 oz can of water chestnuts, and dry onion soup mix (store didn't have leek). Everyone who has tried it has raved about it. The most common question being "where is this dip from?", and being amazed when I told them it was homemade. Definitely a keeper, thanks for the great recipe!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2014
I followed this recipe exactly as written aside from adding some fresh sliced onion and garlic to the crock pot. I sliced the beef ~30 minutes before serving and put it back in the crock pot. I sliced french bread instead of rolls, and I put sharp provolone and mozzarella on it before putting the bread under the broiler. Served with caramelized onions on top this was a huge hit. My girlfriend (who is not big on any kind of beef) loved this meal, and wanted to have the leftovers for dinner the next night! I will definitely be making this again, thank you!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2014
I made this recipe as written, except for a few minor changes: I substituted a 14oz can of chicken broth for the water, used one can of biscuits, and sprinkled some seasoned salt into the slow cooker. I cooked everything on low for ~9 hours while I was at work, and turned it on high when I came home. I then added the biscuit dough and let it cook for an additional 1.5 hours. It came out excellent! I had the leftovers a couple of days after and they were very good as well. I will definitely be making this again, thank you!

Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2013
I used fresh jalapenos when I made these, really a great sandwich. If you want to use fresh jalapenos, I suggest heating them in the pan first to soften them up.
