Grandma's Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2015
This was a GREAT recipe!! As others did I increased to 5 tbs of tapioca and 5 cups of fresh blueberries (could have added another cup). The tapioca gives it a perfect, non runny consistency. As a preference I cut back on the sugar since my husband doesn't like really sweet things. I used 3/4 cup and it was perfect. Like others I used the Basic Flaky Pie Crust from Allrecipes. i brushed the bottom crust with butter and baked it by itself for 15 min. I also brushed the top crust with butter and let the extra butter drip into the pie. They raved about the crust and the entire pie. The bottom crust came out perfectly flaky. This has become my go to recipe for blueberry pie.

Ham and Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2013
This was exactly what I was looking for and it turned out delicious! Pan size will be an issue if your potatoes are too large. I made this recipe my own and left out veggies I did not want and added more of another I liked. I precooked the potatoes but not the veggies - I prefer my veggies firm. I put part of the shredded cheese in the sauce mixture and part of it I sprinkled on top of the cracker crumbs - helped cracker crumbs not to burn and toasted the cheese nicely. This is a great basic recipe that you can change to your own preferences.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2013
Wonderfully easy and divinely delicious! Like others, I used a 9x13 instead of a muffin pan and part way through baking I brushed rolls with melted butter. I also made the suggested cream cheese icing given by MPCHARVAT and it was wonderful!

Mexican Wedding Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2013
Absolutely loved this cookie! I made one addition to the recipe. Before I rolled the cookies in confectionery sugar, I brushed them with melted butter which took away any dryness and caused more sugar to stick to the cookies. People commented how my cookies were not dry when most wedding cookies are and they kept coming back for seconds.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2013
These cookies came out perfect! I followed the recipe exactly except instead of butter, I used butter Crisco. Took them to a cookout and people thought they were store bought since they looked so perfect. People were going back for seconds. My husband ate half a dozen before we even went to the cookout. Great recipe!!
