Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2014
Followed it to the tee and it was very easy to make. The only thing I did was drizzle some olive oil over everything on my plate when I served it because I love having olive oil on my orzo. definitely something to throw in the mix when you want a light and healthy dinner

Chicken and Corn Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
GREAT GREAT recipe for a cold day or just when you are feeling a different style of chili!! I followed the recipe exactly but instead I used kidney beans (I think you can add whatever you want and it will still taste great). Can't wait to make it again!

Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
I didn't have a pizza pan so I cooked it in a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Hence, it turned out more like a casserole. I followed others' suggestions and used more eggs (a total of 7) and added green pepper, black olives, and bacon bits. It came out great and felt like I was having an omelet with potatoes and a biscuit (oh yeah, I used biscuits instead of crescent rolls). I cut it into 6 pieces so one piece would be filling, and now I have breakfast for the next few mornings all ready to be re-heated. My boyfriend liked it as well, and suggests having it with some hot sauce or salsa for a little more flavor/spice. oh ps, I used chicken sausage, and it was fine.

Crock Pot Cheesy Mushroom Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2013
Sure easy and cook time of 8 hours was perfect. I followed some suggestions and used cream of celery instead of celery flakes and cream of chicken and cream of mushroom with roasted garlic. I also used chicken broth instead of cherry. I served it over rice and had green beans on the side. this recipe will be added to my box for a easy "chicken and rice" kind of night

Cheeseburger Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2013
Definitely a good staple for the cold months. I put in 1 lb of ground beef to make it meatier, and used hash brown potatoes as others had suggested. Other than that I followed the recipe to the tee, and there is plenty left over. I would serve it with a pasta dish, personally, but it is also good alone

Quick Reuben Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2013
I love Reuben sandwiches, and sadly I am not in love with this recipe. It does taste like a Reuben, and I followed the advice of others and added more meat. I think, for me, I could use a little less sauerkraut. Maybe that would make a difference. Otherwise it was super easy and it very filling, so something to have on hand in the recipe book.

Honey-Lime Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 4, 2013
I didn't waiver from the recipe too much, except I used chicken sausage instead of shredded chicken (I like the texture better), and it was still very good. I didn't find the honey too sweet or the lime juice to powerful. I used a blend of cheddar and Monterrey jack cheese to top the enchiladas. I don't personally think it needs anything like guacamole or sour cream on top. I would make it again :)
