I have tried many different chili recipes and this now rates at the top of the list. I took another reviewer's suggestion and used 1 lb spicy pork sausage, 1 lb spicy chicken sausage and 1 lb grass fed ground beef chuck. I couldn't find the beans in spicy sauce at my grocery store so I used 4 cans of chili beans. To compensate, I added a little extra jalapeno (with seeds) for spice. The flavors are delicious and complex with the bacon and different peppers and spices all melding together with the beans and meat. So yummy! Authentic or not, it is some good tasting stuff!
