Juicy Roasted Chicken

this was my first time roasting a whole chicken and it came out wonderful, the only change I made was using butter, because that's what I usually keep in the house.

Raspberry Chiffon Pie II

I am so in love with this recipe! I make pies pretty often but usually the basics (apple, lemon, pecan...) i'm very happy to have found something different that worked out so well. the only things I changed were the crust(made like a graham cracker crust but I used shortbread cookies), I used frozen berries, and left out the cream of tarter ( cause I was all out). the end result was perfect though, and it cut clean and pretty, exactly like the picture, which is always my favorite part. definitely making this one again

Sweet and Sour Pork III

made this last night and loved it! a little sweet for me, but I think ill just cut a bit of the sugar next time I make it. Also thinking this would work well with chicken. it was just like a take out dish but way better.

Whipped Cream Filling

i wasn't very happy with this, ive made whipped cream hundreds of time but thought this might hold up better for a coconut cake i was making, but the gelatin made the texture of the whipped cream different (more like cool whip....i don't know how else to explain it) it made it seem artificial, and i really stood over the bowl confused at how my wonderful whipped cream had somehow been turned to cool whip. the cake survived, and no one had anything bad to say about it, but ill stick to basics on the whipped cream.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

made this today and it was great. left out the oil and mustard and cut the recipe down to serve two. very simple and quick to throw together.
