Spiced Applesauce Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
My family enjoyed this bread. I told them it was loaf cake and drizzled icing on top. It was really good, very moist and baked well at the time and temperature stated. I did add some extra cinnamon per other reveiws and subsituted cloves for the allspice for personal preference. Passed the picky child test!

We had this tonight and it was fantastic! We used cheddar cheese, because it was what we had on hand. I am going to purposely grow some large zucchini just for this recipe.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Nut Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
Don't even try to make these without using muffin wrappers. Eventhough I greased the tins they stuck to the pan. These are very rich....almost too rich.

Chicken Spaghetti Casserole I

Reviewed: May 22, 2008
My family enjoyed this casserole. I did have to make a few changes to suit our needs though. I used cream chicken soup instead of mushroom, a can of drained rotel tomatoes since I was out of bell pepper, and substituted chicken broth for the wine. It came out really good! The tomatoes added good color and flavor.

Turkey Macaroni Bake

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
I sauted the turkey in a little olive oil and mediterrean herb sea salt prior to adding to other ingreidients. I think this helped add flavor to the dish. My family enjoyed this. I enjoyed the simplicity of this recipe. It is a quick meal and a great way to use leftover turkey without repeating Thanksgiving.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2007
This was wonderful. My my hubby and 3 children loved it. I used the Italain Dressing Mix on this site and made the dressing from scratch. I think the seasonings and vinegar in the dressing gave this chicken an authenic southern bbq joint flavor. What a great and easy dinner. It is hard to please my picky eaters, but this did!

Cereal Treats II

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2007
I used about a tablespoon Country Crock light instead of 1/4 cup of butter. I also added vanilla after the marshmallow was melted. I used what cereal that was on hand cornflakes, Captain Crunch and Peanut Butter Crunch. This was an excellent way to get rid of leftovers that no one wants.
