I am a pretty methodical person, and project planning is my specialty.
Of course having decided to live a healthier lifestyle I wanted to start at the beginning and work my way up.
I now face my biggest giant: WATER! He loves water, so cutting off pop and juice for water was a pretty easy step.
For me, cutting off pop for real fruit juices was easy. Getting that required 8 (8oz) glasses of water per day is still a real challenge.
I have tried everything to achieve those 8 glasses but I am still struggling.
Here are a few tricks I tried adding to my water:
1. Adding lemon juice, which is said to help with digestion.
2. Adding fresh fruits like strawberries and blueberries with a drop of lime juice to my ice cubes
3. Adding lemon juice to carbonated water
So far, I am more likely to drink close to 8 glasses per day of carbonated water like San Pellegrino and Perrier with lemon juice added to the bottle, than pure distilled water.
