BIRTHDAY GIRL, that's me today!!!!!!
I always wonder how to keep healthy on the road, or our for dinner because who really just wants a plate of salad. So far here are a few changes I've made to my "eating out" healthy lifestyle:
I've traded my chicken/beef burrito for delicious FISH tacos. I have always been hesitant to try fish tacos until I made it once for dinner with homemade salsa and guacamole. I'll share that recipe in a future blog.
I've traded my chicken/meatball sub for Tuna salad. I had no idea all the subs at subway could be purchased as a salad. This healthier take-out I owe to my husband.
Tonight I'll be having dinner with friends and family at Marché and I've already mapped out our healthy alternative:
We'll be having either chicken or vegetarian stir-fry, hold the noodles!
And I will trade cake/ice cream with a fruit salad, sorbet or frozen yogurt : )
