Apple Cole Slaw

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2005
This cole slaw is soooo good, I followed the recipe almost exactly, the only thing I did differently was to put a tablespoon of lemon juice on the apples while I chopped up the rest of the ingriedients, I did this the first time I made the salad, I didn't do it the second time and the apples turned brown after 2 days. I still added the lemon juice that the recipe calls for.

Sweet Potato Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2005
I wasn't too sure about this recipe at first, but it turned out really good. I wasn't sure about the sweet potato egg combination, but it is really good. I did cut the salt and pepper in half, I am glad I did it would have been way to peppery for my taste. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
I LOVE this recipe, my friend made it and brought it to work, I loved it and had to make it myself. I followed the recipe except I didn't have any oregeno, so I used an itallian blend of spices, turned out great! I followed Missdvs advice and left the pine nuts on the side...YUMMY! Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Boston Baked Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2006
This is the best recipe I have found for baked beans. I made a few changes, instead of using bacon, I used a left over ham bone from easter. I boiled it with the beans for about 2 hours, pulled the meat off, added an onion, and put it all into the oven for about 3 hours. I used all the liquid from the beans, at first it seemed a little watery, but as it baked they thickened up nicely. Oh, I added 1/4 cup more brown sugar, just because I like my beans sweet. Yummy recipe!

Pineapple Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2005
I made a few minor changes to this recipe, I used walnuts instead of pecans and added 1 tsp season salt. It was really good, I brought some to work and my coworkers all liked it and my husband asked when i was going to make it again. Great recipe! Thanks!

Black Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2005
I had to modify this recipe because I can't eat spicy, so I omitted the jalapeno peppers, avocado(only because I forgot to buy it) and the pimentos, used a red bell pepper instead of green, WOW, this recipe was awesome, next time I am going to add the avocado and maybe some cucumber, this was a really good recipe...thanks!

Easy Granola Bars

Reviewed: May 14, 2005
This was the best recipe I have found on this site! It was true to the recipe, it came out perfect, and everyone loved them. I didn't even add the chocolate chips, instead I added more nuts and dried fruit. This recipe is a keeper! The baking time was correct too. Thanks for the great recipe!

Garlic Croutons

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
These turned out soooo good! I wont ever buy croutons again! I did change the recipe a tad, I used bread that was from a bakery and was getting stale, it was called Dakota bread, it had nuts and stuff in it. Also, I used dried minced garlic, and before tossing in the oven I sprinkled course sea salt on top...yum! I set my oven timer for 5 minutes so I could stir them while baking, did that 3 times and they were done perfectly! Thanks for the awesome recipe!
