It's alright, I added onion, garlic, feta, and some lemon, it made it a lot better. Everyone ate it.

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2014
Really good, we will make it again. I didn't add salt because soy sauce is already salty. We used it on boneless skinless chicken breast.

Roasted Apples and Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2013
I thought they were alright, my husband loved them. I left out the onions, just because, I tossed them on the stove in olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon, then put them with apples and walnuts in the oven. I added gorgonzola on top as soon as I took it out. They grew on me after a few bites, but were a hit with everyone else.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2013
This is really good, everyone loves it. I mostly just use it if I have a not so good cut of beef, I have also used it on pork. I have used this recipe probably 5 times. I leave out the oil though, and use minced fresh garlic instead of garlic powder though.

Mom's Baking Powder Biscuits

Reviewed: May 22, 2014
Kind of bland, like it's missing something. Quick and easy, but most biscuits are.

Not bad, really easy. We are eating them with chili and it's good together. I think next time I will add some garlic like others have said.

Venison Steak with Peppers and Onions

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2013
This was really good, I didn't use the curing mixture, I used a dry white wine instead of sherry, and used a little flour for thickening instead of corn starch. The meat was really tender, I served it over pasta. My picky 2.5 year old ate it all and had seconds.

Peanut Butter Fudge Cake

Reviewed: May 26, 2013
This is a pretty good cake, very rich, very sweet. I added PB chips to the cake batter because I didn't think there was enough pb. :-)

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
I love this recipe and have made it many times, but tonight I changed it a little. I laid my chicken on the bottom of the pan and used some italian seasoning. I tossed the spinach with crumbled bacon, bleu cheese, lemon, salt and pepper. I covered the top of the chicken with the spinach mixture. I baked at 350 for 35 minutes. While it was baking I sauted some rotini with lemon, butter, a little cream, salt and pepper. I served the chicken on top of the pasta. It was a huge hit. Even my picky 2 year old liked it.

Chocolate Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2013
These were really easy to make and I was looking for something simple because I wanted something to eat, but didn't feel like baking something difficult. I used 1/4 cup of pb and 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup because of some of the reviews I read that said it wasn't sweet enough. The batter is more like dough than a batter and was kind of hard to spread in the pan, but over all I would recommend this recipe!
