Golden Rum Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
This cake was ridiculously awesome!!!! I user Cruzan® Dark Rum, I passed on the nuts, and I used light brown sugar instead of white sugar in the glaze. I poked holes in the bottom of the cake and spooned on the glaze. I also removed the cake, poured glaze in the bundt pan, and reinserted the cake to soak up the goodness.

This recipe is easy and tastes AWESOME!!!! I added red onion and poured it over spinach/shrimp salad (similar to Applebees).

This recipe is awesome! Its extremely simple and easy to add your own touch. I used Pacific Rim Riesling (my fav to drink) and added a little shredded parmesan.

Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
This recipe was fast, easy, and delicious! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I made some additions... 1. I added some of the seasonings to the shrimp while it was sauteing. 2. I added 1 cup of shredded parmesan and 1/2 cup of colby-jack to the final sauce. Overall, great recipe!!!

Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Jumbo Shells

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
I love this recipe as a starting point. I did make a few changes. I used ground turkey instead of chicken. I also added spinach and garlic to the mixture. I used a homemade spaghetti sauce to top the shells in the oven and prevent them from getting tough. Overall great recipe, THANX!!!

Fried Rice I

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2006
I'm a terrible rice cook so I guess my review is a little biased. I tried this recipe in a wok and it came out okay. It wasn't the fried rice flavor I was looking for, but it wasn't too bad.

Herb and Garlic Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2005
This recipe is easy and tastes awesome! i didn't have any dill on hand (and I didn't feel like going back to the store for it). I used garlic salt instead of garlic powder. This spread was great over sliced french bread.

Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

This recipe was really good. For a little more crispness, I added pecan chips to the parmesan mix. I will definitely make this again.

Coconut Cake III

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2005
This recipe is now a staple in my collection!!! I use about half af the coconut in the cake and icing and instead add about a cup of pineapple. It makes for a great pina colada flavor.

Paella

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2005
Very expensive, very disappointed. This recipe was nothing like i expected. If you are looking for a "hispanic" paella, this is definitely not the recipe for you. It wasn't an awful dish. It actually tasted okay, but it was definitely not worth the near $20 I spent on the ingredients.
