Chinese Roast Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2014
Did this with a small pork tenderloin in the crock pot. Delicious! Serve with the sauce as a gravy. I cut up the leftovers and used it in the "lo mein noodles" recipe I found on here. This recipe is a keeper.

Lo Mein Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2014
This is the best lo mein I've ever made. Great recipe for tweeking to your taste. I added pork and broccoli. This recipe is a keeper. Some other reviewers said there was not enough sauce. Personally, I feel it was just enough. Any more sauce and it would have been too saucy. Lo mein isn't typically "saucy" like some other Chinese dishes.

Peanut Butter-Chocolate Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2014
This was very good. I made it for a friend's b'day party and everyone liked it. However, The recipe is very confusing. You shouldn't have to read about the chocolate part in the footnotes. It's listed as a peanut butter "chocolate" cheesecake. Also, the melted chocolate did not mix in nicely. It left the cream cheese mixture speckled, looked nothing like the nice dark chocolate in the picture. I'm wondering if a semi-sweet Cocoa powder would work better? Although the taste was there, I only gave it 3 stars because of the way the recipe is laid out and also how the chocolate did not mix well.

Ham Chowder

This is a great recipe. Easy to tweak to your family's taste. Don't like rosemary, use something else, sage would be nice. So much can be down with it.. Thanks for sharing!

Oven-Fried Catfish

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
My family loved this! My pickiest eater said it was "awesome"! I made nuggets instead of fillets. If you do this I recommend doubling the breading. This recipe is a keeper, will definitely be making it again and again.

Really good! Will definitely make again. Just a suggestion, if you use a sweet BBQ sauce, no honey is needed.

Made this today, it was yummy! Just one suggestion, add about a 1/2 tsp of salt. Also, mine took 40 minutes to bake.

Kris' Amazing Shredded Mexican Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2014
This was SO good! Everyone in my family ate it and enjoyed it, that's saying a lot! This recipe will be a staple in my house. Just a side note, my roast was done in 6 hours, so tender, it just fell apart.
