Made a batch of EBNB tonight--I've been trying to duplicate the recipe my mom used from the 1983 Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. This was EXACTLY what I wanted...only better! I had no issues with being too doughy or dry, and it was buttery and delicious when baked! I halved the sugar and did half white and half brown, added a splash of vanilla and a teaspoon of cinnamon as so many others have recommended. My only complaint was that I set my timer for 60 mins, and it was already browner than I liked at that point (my oven is true), but it thankfully didn't affect the taste. I will do it exactly the same next time, only set for 50 mins and go from there if needed. Definitely a keeper!
