Seared Scallops with Spicy Papaya Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
This was really really good! I didn't flour the scallops, i don't understand why you would do that to them. I pureed half and kept half as salsa. They were both really good, although I think we preferred the salsa better, so next time maybe I will puree a quarter of it and keep the other 3/4 as salsa. The flavours and the colours were both fantastic! I also served it with Goldys special salad. Perfect!!! Next time maybe I'll add a little bulgur... Thank you!!!

Red Pepper-Salmon Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2009
I didn't have jalepenos so I used half a spanish pepper, which was way too hot so I 'had' to add some cream which really balanced out the sauce. It was SO good, we fought over the leftovers. I added some salmon spice and baked them uncovered. So, so good and so easy! Thank you!!!

Jenny's Black Forest Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
I made my own filling for this, but the cake itself was fantastic!!!! I made it in 2 9inch springform pans. It didn't rise as much as I wanted it to so I made another 1/2 batch and ended up with a stunning 3 layer cake. Many of my guests said it was the best cake they'd ever tasted. My boyfriend has already requested it for his birthday (in November!) with a chocolate frosting. Thank you so much!!

Scallops with White Wine Sauce I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
This recipe was sooo fantastic! I served it to guests on my birthday and everyone adored it, even the seafood hater has requested the recipe. I used a small red onion instead of shallots, used much less butter and added some fresh ground pepper. I also sprinkled the scallops with cajun spice before sauteing them. I served the scallops on endives, the bitterness went fantastic with the sauce and scallops. Mmmmmmm, can't wait to try this again with many different foods...

Caramelized Salmon with Cherry Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
So simple and Really good!! I only had 1 hour to marinate and it would have been so much better with more time. My only complain was that the sugar made it more difficult to get the salmon off the barbeque. But the flavours were soooo good! I made the salsa with canned cherries, mango and mint. Mmmmmm. Thanks for a healthy and very tasty dish!

Big Smokey Burgers

I made this again last night with ground ostrich. I used only about 1/2 tsp smoke, but I'm really sensitive to it. Also used about 2 tbsp chipotle paste and added black peppar. These are so good! My husband said they were one of the best burgers he's ever had! Thank you!!!

Sweet And Sour Chicken Meatballs

Really yummy! I make my own chicken balls, not following the recipe but the sauce is great! I would double the chicken mixture because otherwise it's mostly sauce. Very yummy and alot of fun to throw together. Thanks!

Blueberry Coffee Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
This recipe was fantastic! I added 2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp almond extracts and 1/4 c milk. I also had to use frozen berries, took the tip of another reviewer and shook them with a little flour. The only problem I had was it took about 55 mins to bake and even though I waited 15 mins to add the topping it had started to burn by the time the cake was done. Next time I'll wait about 30 mins before adding the topping. So good, I can't stop eating it!! Thank you!
