Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
This was so easy to put together, the slow cooker did all the work. I loved it. This was the first time I didn't have to carve it b/c the ham was so tender it fell apart. I was a little skeptical about not putting any liquid in it but boy was I surprised when at the end the crock pot was filled to the top with juice. It left the meat nice and juicy.

Lite Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2005
I made this for my husband's birthday because carrot cake is his favorite. He said it was great, even better than his sister's, who is the queen of baking! I used the allspice cream cheese frosting from this site.. Will definitely be making again.

Pear Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
This was very good. I made it three days ago and still have left overs in the fridge and it still taste really good. I didn't do it exactly the way the recipe said but overall it still worked out. I used french bread, cut up in cubes or bite size pieces. I used two cans of sliced pears in thier juices because the pears at the supermarket were not ripe at all and I needed them that day. Then I used the juice from the can because I did not have enough time to go get pear brandy. I'm making this again and will try with the brandy but other than that enjoyed alot. Oh, and the crumb mixture is goooood. It taste like you are eating a crumb coffe cake.

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2006
My family and I had this for dinner today and we all enjoyed it. The meat was nice and tender that my three ate it with no problem. I left out the boullion cube and instead of water used beef broth. Everything else I left the same and served over white rice. Yummy!

Wonderful! Easy, quick and yummy! I used fat free half & half, a can of tomatoes with onions and pepper, doubled the creamed corn on top of a can of mexican corn which means it has red and green peppers in it, i also substituted chicken stock for the hot water and that's it. Family loved it.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2012
This was my first time making zucchini bread and I don't know why i haven't made this sooner. It was simply amazing!! Will be making more and freezing them. Now, I did use whole wheat flour, brown sugar, substituted apple sauce for the oil, and skipped the walnuts. I wanted a healthier version for my kids, two which are twin toddlers, and my husband who is diabetic but overall recipe is amazing and it is definitely a keeper. Thanks for sharing!
