Best Ever Sausage with Peppers, Onions, and Beer!

Reviewed: May 22, 2007
This was out of the WORLD, I cooked it just like it said with two bottles of Heinekena and a whole can of tomatoe paste to thicken the sauce which worked beautifully. This is a terrific keeper to my collection. My husband and my parents said it was great!!!!!

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
This was so easy to put together, the slow cooker did all the work. I loved it. This was the first time I didn't have to carve it b/c the ham was so tender it fell apart. I was a little skeptical about not putting any liquid in it but boy was I surprised when at the end the crock pot was filled to the top with juice. It left the meat nice and juicy.

Linguine with Clams

Reviewed: May 10, 2006
This was a very good recipe, simple to make and quick. I love mushrooms so that was a nice touch. When I saw the sour cream on the list of ingrediants I thought that was weird but tried it anyway and it just thickened up the sauce and made it even yummier. Recipe is a keeper.

Beef Tips

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2006
I really liked this. I think it was easy to prepare and was good over white rice. I added fresh mushrooms after browning the meat and it came out good. I did use half of the amount said to use for the soy sauce even though mine was lite. It was not salty at all.

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2006
My family and I had this for dinner today and we all enjoyed it. The meat was nice and tender that my three ate it with no problem. I left out the boullion cube and instead of water used beef broth. Everything else I left the same and served over white rice. Yummy!

Anthony's Lime Chicken with Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2006
THis was very good, I really enjoyed eating it. Although, the only thing, it left a bad after taste. I'm thinking from the limes. I will make this again because I really love it but I will not cook the chicken with the limes. Instead will just squeeze lime juice over the top when finished cooking. Thanks for the recipe! The pasta was yummy too. I used penne rigate.

I made this for a Christmas party. It wasn't bad. Everyone seemed to enjoyed it. I did not have time to marinate it like I wanted to but still came out fine. Also, I used crumbled goat and just mixed everything togethter. Probably will make again.

Pear Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
This was very good. I made it three days ago and still have left overs in the fridge and it still taste really good. I didn't do it exactly the way the recipe said but overall it still worked out. I used french bread, cut up in cubes or bite size pieces. I used two cans of sliced pears in thier juices because the pears at the supermarket were not ripe at all and I needed them that day. Then I used the juice from the can because I did not have enough time to go get pear brandy. I'm making this again and will try with the brandy but other than that enjoyed alot. Oh, and the crumb mixture is goooood. It taste like you are eating a crumb coffe cake.

Chocolate Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2005
love chocolate, but this was way too chocolatly. It made me sick to my stomach. I only had three bananas so maybe that was the problem that it wasn't balanced. I will stick to my regular banana bread by itself. Thanks anyway.

I made this for my husband's birthday because carrot cake is his favorite. He said it was great, even better than his sister's, who is the queen of baking! I used the allspice cream cheese frosting from this site.. Will definitely be making again.
