Made this tonight and it was a hit. My husband and I really enjoyed them and we are not vegetarians. We followed the recipe as above, but let the beans dry after rinsing them and dabbed the green pepper and onion mixture with paper towels to gather the extra liquid. Even though there is chili powder and hot sauce added it is not a "heated" amount. I also do not have a food processor and used my Pampered Chef chopper and it still blended as it should. I also took the advice from one of the reviews and mashed the beans with a flat object versus a fork. This a recipe that we will definitely be eating again.
