Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2013
This is wonderful and so healthy. It has a nice little kick and my husband and I love the addition of feta. Gives it a nice saltiness. Yummy.

So very yummy. I however didn't add the onion and substituted buttermilk for the milk. PERFECTION!

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2012
This is fabulous. I would recommend a good cream cheese swirl topping after cutting into servings. Other then that, the cake was moist, spicy and delicious. My husband couldn't get enough and asked me to make more so we could take them up to his shop on the base for the guys that couldn't go home for the holidays.

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
This was fantastic. I cut the recipe in half because it was just my husband and I. I had one and he had like 8 helping. AMAZING. The only substitutions I made was white Balsamic because I didnt want it to change the color and it is a little more mild. Also when I put the bread in the oven to toast I brushed with a little Olive oil and sprinkled the bread with a tiny bit of salt and pepper. When I topped the tomato mixture I used a combo of Parm/Romano. Fantastic. Im sure it would be wonderful as written as well.

This was fabulous. I used Arboro rice and 2% evaporated milk, came out supper creamy. I also added 1 1/2 tespoons of cinnamon and 1 cup currents which I added to the liquid mixture to allow them to hydrate before I added then to the dry, was wonderful. My husband and I had never had rice pudding before but you can count on well have it again thats for sure after this. Wonderful :)

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
This was fantastic. I entered it in a chili cook off and came out with a blue ribbon. You have to try. It seems a little scary looking at all the ingredients but you basically just dump and the long cooking does the rest

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
I made these for my husband who is military and overseas right now. He said they were the best cookies ever and they said they stayed nice and moist in the 1 week travel time for them to get there. He shared them with his buddies and they said it was like a piece of back home. Amazing... thank you

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
This was a Fabulous recipe. The only change that I would add, would be to boil the sugar and butter longer becasue the caramel was still a little grainy. Other then that it was PERFECT!!!

Lemon Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2007
My husband really liked this recipe. He said that he like how light it was and how it had a pop to the flavors. I however thought it was a little shallow on flavor in the heat catagory. Next time I think it would taste a little better with some red pepper flakes in it to give it a little heat and punch. Other then that is was delicious and very easy to prepare. Everything that you would normally have in your pantry. Thank you for the recipe.
