Cheddar Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2005
Really yummy! and easy to make too! My children and husband also loved it, which says a lot. Like some other people, I ended up with too much egg mixture to fit in the pan. I think I will put it in a bigger plate next time and make a larger batch of the yummy bisquick crust. I added vegetarian bacon since we are vegetarian. I may try this recipe with spinach or brocolli next time. thank you!

Caramel Corn IV

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2004
This is yummy! The caramel is excellent-I tasted it before baking. I used 1 bag mic. popcorn and the amount of caramel was perfect. I think baking time is far too much though-I cooked for fifteen minutes stirring after 8, and it still was a little burnt. I think I will just bake for 5-8 minutes next time! Very good!

Barbecue Tofu Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2004
These sandwiches are great! I didn't drain my tofu well enough, so it all crumbled. But that is okay because my husband doesn't like big chunks of it in his food. He normally makes faces at my tofu dishes, but he ate these without suspecting it was even in there! He loved it,and was very surprised. I think the key is making sure to cook to tofu until it is very browned and firm. I think adding veggie baked beans might be nice also. Will make this often! Thanks!

Salted Nut Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2004
I have to be fair--this was yummy. But, we were expecting the bars to taste like salted nut rolls at the store! I am trying to figure out how to modify it-not sure yet. But the bars are still good the way they are. Oh, yeah, and they are extremely easy and quick!

Homemade Yummy Fudge

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2004
This is wonderful fudge! While I was making it, I added a bit of butter with melting the chocolate and also 1/4 cup milk to the mix. I did this to avoid the stiff mixture problem. Mine never had the problem. It turned out nice and creamy. Will be making this many times again! Thanks!

Taffy Apple Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2004
This was yummy! I added a 20 ounce can of pineapple instead of 8 because I didn't want the leftovers in the fridge. This was the best apple salad I have had. The only bad thing I can say is the sauce is not that creamy-it kind of separates, which doesn't make the prettiest salad-but I don't care--it tastes like a carmel apple!

Corn Dog Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2004
I followed other raters' advice and added another 10 minutes baking time--that was a mistake! But besides the darkened edges and cheese on top, the inside was delicious! I omitted the celery, onion, and sage. I added a can of green chilies(like others did), and I also added a can of whole kernel corn. This was wonderful and I am sure it'll turn out great next time!

Tater Tot Casserole II

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2004
I think this recipe is great---and it's mainly because it is so easy to prepare. Just throw everything in the pan and bake. I think there is way too much sour cream in it though, so I decided to substitute extra mushroom soup for half the sour cream. I also might try adding a veggie like peas or green beans next time! Very yummy!

Egg Salad III

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2004
This is a great, and extremely easy to make egg salad recipe. My family loves green olives, so we added a bit more. Add a little lettuce on the sandwich, and it is absolutely delicious!!!
