Pain de Campagne - Country French Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
This is a great recipe. If you plan ahead & make your sponge before you go to bed, you can have a fairly quickly made bread the next day. I got up at 5, mixed the rest of the flour & ingredients and went back to bed. When I get up at 8, it was ready to be formed into loaves to rise for the last time. I had hot, fresh bread for Sunday lunch.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

This was awesome. For a thicker, creamier soup put 1/2 jar of the double cheddar sauce in from Ragu.

Fabulous. Turned out great. I added extra lemon juice as I like that tartness, but a great go-to recipe.

Taco Bake II

I used Aldi's salsa instead on the tomatoes & added onion & garlic to the meat while it simmered. It was good. Tasted a lot like the filling in taco bell tacos. Fast & easy dinner with a salad & extra chips.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2005
Fabulous! Utterly fabulous. So easy in my stand-up mixer. To change it up I sometimes add some pecans or some raisins. Would also be good with 1 teaspoon of ground ginger.
