Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2007
If I could give this more stars, I would! I didnt have vanilla pudding, so I used my sugar free cheesecake pudding, let me tell you, I will ALWAYS use that, its so amazing! These are the most chewy, flavorfull cookies I've ever made.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2005
These were amazing! I ususally pass by anything that uses yeast, because it scares me, but my husband REALLY wanted cinnamon rolls. These were perfect! The only thing I changed was adding 1/2cup more brown sugar to the filling. I also just put them in a 9x13 pan instead of muffin pans. I used the icing recipe from the Cinnabon Clone recipe to top it off. I'll never use another recipe.

Lemon Barbeque Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2005
This was a decent recipe, great for those in a bind however. I used plain BBQ sauce, but I think if I'd used a spicey or bold it would have tasted much better. I'll make this again though, will just switch sauces!

Broccoli and Stuffing Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2005
I also followed this recipe to the letter and was disappointed. It was to dry and it had WAY to much mayo. I dont think I'll make this again.

Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2005
I thought this was going to be way to sugary sweet.. but with the lemon juice added, it was PERFECT. I dont think I'll ever eat fruit or bagels plain again!

Pork Tenderloin with Tomato and Pepper Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2005
This was REALLY good! I omitted the green chilis and doubled the tomatoes because I'm a "saucey" kind of gal. If you plan on eatting this over rice or pasta, I suggest using double also. If you plan on eatting it plain, then just follow the recipe.

Lemon Pepper Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2005
This just wasnt that fabulous. I LOVE lemon but this was just to bitter. I cut the basil in half like others said to, but it just didnt cut it. I ended up having to add seasoned pepper and about 2 more tablespoons of olive oil. I will not be making this again for myself. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because my 17 month old loved it, and it was REALLY quick to make.

Honeyed Ham Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2005
This sauce was amazing! It only took about a minute to put together and tasted great. Next time though, I think I'll add less katsup and a little more mustard, to give it a tangier flavor.

Creamy Dill Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2004
I've been trying to recreate a dill dip that I purchased at an Interation Bazaar thats held here in Germany on our Air Force Base and have yet to do it...untill I found THIS recipe! Not only did it satisfy my craving for a good dill dip.. this one is BETTER. I added 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder just to give it that *extra* kick. I really think that the key to this dip is letting it sit at LEAST 3-4 hours. I tasted it right after I made it and it was good...but after I let it sit, it was amazing. I'm ashamed to say I ate all of it with a bag of pretzles for dinner, LOL!

Swedish Meatballs II

I did NOT like this recipe at all. It was VERY bland and the sauce was to runny. I will not make this again.

Apple Streusel Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2004
This was a very good recipe! I dont know if I did it wrong though because when I cut into it, it had ALOT of extra juice that made the bottom of the pie crust really soggy. I'm gonna try it again though because it was still the best apple pie I've ever tasted!

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2004
I made this for my husband and brother in law who claim they hate Mac n Cheese..well, they ate the ENTIRE dish! I changed it up a little though. I used 1/3lbs of the Velveeta and added 1tsp of dry mustard, black pepper and garlic salt (instead of normal salt). I also added Cajun seaonsing to plain bread crumbs for the topping.

Taco Seasoning II

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2004
This was the most bland, bland could get. However being one who likes to experiment I added some things. I added a full 1/2 teaspoon of ceyanne pepper instead of just the 1/8th. I also added 1tsp garlic salt and a few shakes of tabasco sauce. It was a HUGE hit after that.

Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2004
My husband and I have been looking for a good marinade for a long time, well... we've found it. We marinated our meat for 8 hours and the flavor was really great. I added 1/2 teaspoon of Ginger instead of just a pinch which I think helped. The Kabobs were even better the second day!

Herb and Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2004
This was absolutely amazing! I kind of messed up on it since the house was really busy and I wasnt paying attention and accidentally added 2 cans of chicken broth instead of 1 (2 cups worth instead of one) so the sauce was thin, but I think I liked that BETTER then what it might have been. I also didnt have any onions so I used Onion Powder. I doubled the spices and used half on the chicken and half I threw in the sauce for more pizzazz. This recipe is fairly spicy...but we're a spicy couple and we really liked it! This will become part of my regular menu!!!

Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2004
This was really good! I added a tablespoon of cinnamon and vanilla to give it a little more flavor but it was overall very moist and yummy. Unfortunately the very center of mine wasnt cooked so I could only eat the outter parts. Not the recipes fault though, I live in Germany and the ovens are a bit different. Im going to make this again for sure and tweak it till I get it right in this darn oven! I also added cinnamin sugar mix the last 20 minutes of cooking.

Baked Dijon Chicken

Reviewed: May 31, 2004
This was very easy to make. I'm only giving it 4 stars becaue it WAS a little bland. I doubled the wet ingrediants and let the chicken marinate for about an hour before breading and cooking it. I also used Italian Bread crumbs instead of plain. Next time I'm going to use plain bread crumbs, but add Cajun seasoning to it to give it a spicey flavor. It was still good, and I WOULD eat it again, but I'm a spicy kind of girl as is my husband.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: May 24, 2004
Ok, I've been making Chocolate Chip Cookies with my mom since I was 3 years old. These are BY FAR the BEST cookies I've ever made! I read through the first 5 pages of reviews and decided I'd first follow the recipe to the "T" before I tried any adjustments. They turned out amazing. They are a little crunchy on the outside, but the second you get past that its soft and chewy. I refridgerated the dough for 30 minutes before baking and cooked them for 17 minutes. I wouldnt change a thing about this recipe.

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

Reviewed: May 13, 2004
I really liked this. I trippled the wet ingrediants since we used a really thick London Broil and it marinated for almost 10 hours. I'm definantly going to use this again.
