I am not a baker like my Grandma, who has perfected peanut brittle, ginger snaps, pumpkin roll and chocolate sheet cake to name a few! I only had 2 round pie pans and I did half the batch without walnuts for my baby boy. I used a whole cup of walnuts in just half the batter and it was perfect for us because we like it nutty! 4 large bananas mashed down to 2 cups. Warning, do not add butter to your piece after baking, this recipe makes it so you don't need to!!! I ate a piece fresh after baking, it was delicious! My edges did end up too brown, but I assumed this would happen. I have made this before with loaf pans and it was perfect then, too! Do refrigerate to keep fresh, I did not and it made a difference.
