Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese I

I'm giving this one star, because if I would have cooked it as directed I would not have been able to eat it. It started to brown a lot after only 2 and a half hours on low, so after 5 to 6 it would have been completely burnt. Though it was edible after 2 hours, the noodles on top were not fully cooked, the sides were so browned and hardened I could not eat that part, and it was completely firm and clumped together. It tasted like a quiche, not like macaroni and cheese. I should have read the reviews before making it.
