I am a mother of four that's always looking for creative ways to make dinner exciting.
My favorite things to cook
Some of my favorite eats are Parmesan crusted chicken
My favorite family cooking traditions
Although it seems childish one tradition that has passed from one generation to the next and that is the licking of the spoon. In my house my 2 year old starting clapping when she sees my attaching the paddle to my Kitchen Aid because she knows goodies are soon to come.
My cooking triumphs
My grandmother is the matriarch of our family and the master of our Thanksgiving dinner, after years of watching her prepare the dressing made with chicken giblets, celery, onions, bell peppers, etc. I decided to try my hand at it, I has always be reluctant to due to the tedious prep time but this walk particular Sunday I mustered up the courage and nerve. My first attempt was close but after a couple of tweaks to the ingredients I succeeded and now am responsible for preparing the majority of Thanksgiving dinner.
My cooking tragedies
I'll never forget the first time I baked chocolate chip cookies I took them to work to share with my co-workers and I overheard one of them say "These cookies are a carpenter's dream, they are hard as nails!", I was mortified you best believe I have since mastered chocolate chip cookies and now people refer to them as "Addicting".
