Banana Pudding II
A good base recipe; you can customize as needed. I didn't find it necessary to use a double boiler for the custard - just do it in a saucepan on low heat whisking constantly until it thickens (and registers to 170 on a thermometer).

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce
Excellent falafel recipe. These are great baked or fried. I recommend using panko breadcrumbs - they'll absorb more moisture and are a little more subtle than regular breadcrumbs.

Banana Banana Bread
This is my default banana bread recipe. While completely amazing on its own, it is also versatile enough to serve as a base for other experimentation - I've made it with cinnamon and nutmeg, raisins, or chocolate - all versions came out great. Be sure to use very ripe bananas; another trick I use a lot is to use frozen bananas - they'll ripen and become more sweet over time and even though they will look a little unappetizing when you take them out of the freezer, the ripening process gives the bread a wonderful aroma.
