Sesame Shrimp Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
My daughter and I loved this. I made the recipe as given omitting the sugar snap peas and used brown rice. Excellent!!!! I am going to try it with chicken. I did add some teriyaki to the marinade and let the shrimp sit for about an hour for lots of flavor.

We really enjoyed this. I think I put the cinnamon in twice but it was still good. My husband has eaten half the pan himself.

I loved this. The best thing is it doesn't have any oil - only lime juice. Definitely a keeper.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
It was wonderful! I am not a professional baker and followed the directions exactly and it was one of the best pies I ever tasted. The consistency was perfect. I let it cool completely and it wasn't the least bit runny. I can hardly wait to make it again.

Grilled Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: May 15, 2009
I made this last night and everyone loved it. I added 3 lg. garlic cloves and served with orzo with lemon zest and green peas. I used extra light virgin olive oil which made it a healthy dish. Served with the orange, walnut, gorgonzola and mixed green salad with fresh citrus vinaigrette from this site for a wonderful light meal.

Orange, Walnut, Gorgonzola and Mixed Greens Salad with Fresh Citrus Vinaigrette

Reviewed: May 15, 2009
This is an awesome salad!!! I didn't have walnuts and used pecans and added the gorgonzola to the dressing. I also used it when I had a party as a drizzle over cold asparagus. It was a huge hit and everyone wanted the recipe.

Mom's Shrimp Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
I love all the ingredients so I knew it would be good. I followed the instructions except used a pound of med shrimp which I cooked in Old Bay. Everyone loved it but I think next time I would up the hot sauce, chili powder and horseradish a little for a bit more of a kick.

I love this recipe. I have made it for 30 people for dinner at a homeless shelter with Rice a Roni Spanish Rice and it was a huge hit. It is a great make ahead and just pop it in the oven while visiting with guests. P.S. I didn't change a thing!!!

Chicken Chili II

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
Loved it! My husband is from Texas & thought it was a sin to make chili with chicken but he liked it. I followed the recipe but used 7 oz. green chilis a little extra cumin and cooked for about 45 minutes and it thickened itself. I made lime/chili tortilla chips and a salad and it was a great dinner. Thanks for the recipe.
