Marinade for Chicken

Sesame Shrimp Stir-Fry

My daughter and I loved this. I made the recipe as given omitting the sugar snap peas and used brown rice. Excellent!!!! I am going to try it with chicken. I did add some teriyaki to the marinade and let the shrimp sit for about an hour for lots of flavor.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

It was wonderful! I am not a professional baker and followed the directions exactly and it was one of the best pies I ever tasted. The consistency was perfect. I let it cool completely and it wasn't the least bit runny. I can hardly wait to make it again.

Grilled Shrimp Scampi

I made this last night and everyone loved it. I added 3 lg. garlic cloves and served with orzo with lemon zest and green peas. I used extra light virgin olive oil which made it a healthy dish. Served with the orange, walnut, gorgonzola and mixed green salad with fresh citrus vinaigrette from this site for a wonderful light meal.

This is an awesome salad!!! I didn't have walnuts and used pecans and added the gorgonzola to the dressing. I also used it when I had a party as a drizzle over cold asparagus. It was a huge hit and everyone wanted the recipe.

Mom's Shrimp Macaroni Salad

I love all the ingredients so I knew it would be good. I followed the instructions except used a pound of med shrimp which I cooked in Old Bay. Everyone loved it but I think next time I would up the hot sauce, chili powder and horseradish a little for a bit more of a kick.

Curried Shrimp Bisque

This was amazing!!! I didn't have green onions or brandy and I used fat free half and half. My friend the gourmet cook was here and she raved about it all weekend. It is quick and easy and definitely a keeper. Thanks for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Vegetable Chili

We loved it! The we is my daughter and I - my husband wouldn't even taste it - no meat. I omitted the zucchini and doubled the carrots, added extra onion, black beans and extra spices. It was perfect and even better the next day. Thanks for the recipe. I am sending to all my friends.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

VERY GOOD. I REDUCED CHEESE IN HALF, USED BROWN RICE, 1 CAN OF MUSHROOM & 1 CAN CHEESE SOUP AND ONE CAN OF ROTEL. WE AREN;T BIG CASSEROLE EATERS BUT THIS WAS EVEN BETTER THE NEXT DAY.

Layered Chicken and Black Bean Enchilada Casserole

I love this recipe. I have made it for 30 people for dinner at a homeless shelter with Rice a Roni Spanish Rice and it was a huge hit. It is a great make ahead and just pop it in the oven while visiting with guests. P.S. I didn't change a thing!!!

Chicken Chili II

Loved it! My husband is from Texas & thought it was a sin to make chili with chicken but he liked it. I followed the recipe but used 7 oz. green chilis a little extra cumin and cooked for about 45 minutes and it thickened itself. I made lime/chili tortilla chips and a salad and it was a great dinner. Thanks for the recipe.
