Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I was hoping for a really creamy dense cheese cake. Instead It was a very whipped texture type. It tasted great... but not quite what I had aimed for.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

This was the first time that I didn't read the reviews before making a recipe. First of all.... This is the BEST tasting cornbread I have EVER made!! For this I will give it a 5 star*****! However I doubled the recipe because I am doing a bake sale for my RELAY FOR LIFE team and thought to myself that 1 tesp of baking soda didn't seem like enough for a double batch. But I followed the recipe to the tee (using the serving scale to double my recipe) and the muffins that I made were far from muffin like. More like discs....that taste fabulous!! So I gave it a 4 star! ****!

Soft Sugar Cookies V

These cookies are not personally one of my favorites but my family LOVES them and this recipe. If you have a simple cookie cutter the better. This recipe tends to puff up alot obscuring small shapes with alot of detail ( I used a lamb 2 1/2" cutter and it did not work well.) However, It worked wonderful for the bigger more simple cutters that we used that didn't have as much detail. (pumpkins) I would use the recipe again.

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

I made this recipe for a carrot cake. I like the taste of the frosting, but It is a stickey goohie consistancy to a frosting. The cream cheese mellows out the super sweetnes of the sugar. It was very easy to make and went well on the carrot cake.
