Reynolds Foil has been used in my family since I was a kid.  I constantly use Reynolds for their superior quality and ease of clean-up. (being a mom of two teen boys running in all directions, I need a little extra help around the kitchen, Thank you Reynolds!). For November's Reynolds… MORE

About this Cook
I have been cooking since I was 9 years old. My mom finally let me cook after begging for who knows how long. I can remember the meal, it was chicken cacciatore. After that I lost the ambition to cook. Years later I realized I missed my calling to become a chef. I truly love cooking and baking. I am always trying new recipes on my family.
My favorite things to cook
Anything complex or exotic.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Like most moms with young kids we always made the Christmas cookies as a tradition. Now they are teenagers and boys, this tradition has lost it meaning. I have been hosting Thanksgiving for 4 years now to about 10 family members. I am experimenting new recipes every year. Also for New Year's Eve we have 20+ people over and I make all the food from scratch for the past 16 years. Family is the most important thing in my life and I love cooking for as many as I can.
My cooking triumphs
I would have to say cooking my first meal at such a young age. I have had great luck with making homemade pasta. Recently I had made short rib Wellington pot pies and they were unbelievable.
My cooking tragedies
Oh there are several. The most recent was making hockey pucks out of delmonicos steaks. However, it wasn't really my fault. The grease catcher on the BBQ grill caught fire.

Sizzlin' Fajitas
The seasoning was pretty mild but tasty. I will be using this recipe over and over.

Best Greek Quinoa Salad
Very tasty and easy to make. I cut this recipe in half since my husband and I are the only ones who will eat this.

Simple Spicy Hummus
This recipe is very similar to the one I currently use (South Beach Diet). Instead of water I use the liquid from the can of chick peas.
