Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2013
I really loved the taste of this ziti. I changed the order of the sauce so that I poured it directly on top of the ziti, omitted the meat, and covered it in aluminum foil to bake. The sour cream and different cheeses made for a flavorful combination. I used Bertolli Tomato and Basil sauce. I will definitely make this recipe again.

Baked Potato Soup III

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2013
This recipe was delicious! I did cut the black pepper back to 1/8 t though. For our family of three, I was considering on cutting the recipe in half and, now, wish I had. The full recipe made much more than the stated 6 servings. It was closer to 10 or so servings for us. While the leftovers aren't bad and the soup is tasty, it gets old eating it after a week.

Alfredo Mostaccioli

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2013
I loved this recipe. The sauce had a rich, buttery flavor. I added chopped broccoli and mushrooms to make it a complete meal.

Melinda's Porcupine Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2013
I liked the base of this recipe. I substituted ground chicken for ground beef and used a dash of celery seed in place of celery salt. I also used instant rice, cut the salt back to 3/4 t, and doubled the garlic powder. I chose to bake the meatballs according to the alternate directions. Our meatballs were a bit larger and needed to bake for an extra 15 minutes, uncovered. This will be a regular on our dinner menu.

Four Cheese Margherita Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2013
My husband and I both enjoyed this recipe. I cut the salt in half and did not spread the crust with the tomato marinade based on previous reviews. Even though I shook the marinade off of the tomatoes before placing them on the pizza, they still made the crust soggy. However, the overall taste of the pizza was very good.

Frozen Vegetable Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2013
This recipe was really tasty! I made no modifications and my 3-year-old gobbled it up. The leftovers even reheated well. I served it over white rice.

Chicken Fajita Melts

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2013
I made no modifications to the recipe. My husband liked it, but I was not impressed. Unfortunately, it tasted more like a taco melt than a fajita melt. I will not be making it again unless my husband specifically requests it.

Gourmet White Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2013
I made no modifications to the recipe. My husband and I thought it was ok. I did like the taste of the Alfredo sauce and sun-dried tomato pesto together, but it was a bit salty and did not reheat well.
