Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

This dish is awesome! The only ingredient I changed was to substitute non fat plain yogurt for the sour cream. I did use all the broth, almost 8 cups. My husband is the cook of the family and a super cook I must say. I was pleased that he went for seconds. I shall make again.

Lentil Soup

T thought this recipe was awesome. I had my own chicken broth made and used that instead of water. I had 10 cups of broth and wanted to use it up, so I added two extra carrots, 1 cup of spinach, doubled the spices and used balsamic vinegar. I used the same amount of lentils. It was delicious.

Tomato Basil Pasta

Oh my; this is the best! I went exactly by the recipe except added couple dashes of red pepper flakes and doubled the basil. I used red onion also. It was fantastic. We changed it a bit for our preference Thank you so much for a make again recipe!

Summer Corn Salad

Thank you for the recipe. It was a base for a delicious salad. I added 1/2 chopped green pepper, 1/2 chopped orange pepper, 1 chopped jalapeno, the juice of two limes, 1/4 teaspoon cumin and replaced the oregano with cilantro. I also added I can of black beans. I marinated it for several hours. It was awesome; even my husband who is a gourmet cook was impressed!

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Overall I thought this recipe to be fantastic. My husband has been the cook in the family; he was in awe with the outcome. I did make a few changes; I put McCormick grille master rub and salt and pepper on the roast and let it set overnight. I also took the suggestion of other readers and mixed the sauce ingredients the night before. I also placed the onion on the bottom of the slow cooker as others had suggested. I also added a tablespoon of honey and 2 tbsp of liquid smoke to the sauce. I cut the vinegar to 1/4 cup As another reader had stated the sauce was not thick enouuugh so I thickened with cornstarch and a bit of water. I felt there was too much sauce for the meat and if prepared it again I would add less to the pulled pork and put the remaining sauce on the side. I cooked the pork in the sauce on low for about 7 hrs, pulled it apart and added back to the sauce for another 2 hrs. I was delicious.

Chicken Parmesan

Awesome! Beautiful Presentation and wonderful flavors. I have just began cooking after 25 years; I used to be a simple meat and potato comfort food cook. My husband has been retired for many years and has been the cook of the family; mostly he cooks gourmet and everything he makes is delicious. Since I have retired I have tried many recipes from this site as well as multiple cook books and magazines. I have finally a bravo for this recipe. Thank you. I did change it up a bit. I increased all cheese amounts by at least 1/3 and doubled the sauce amount. In place of provolone I used Asioga cheese. I used 2/3 of a jar of Ragu Spaghetti Sauce with garlic and onion. I used the extra 1/3 jar of Ragu to drizzle over Garlic Penne Pasta. I generously sprinkled parmesan cheese over all. Yummy and beautiful! asiago

Tangy Turkey and Swiss Sandwiches

I found this recipe awesome. The spread was so delicious. I had only wheat bread and provelone cheese on hand, but the family raved about this . I do think in would be 5 stars wsith the french bread.

Artichoke Chicken

The flavor was awesom.. I marinated the artichoke hearts two days prior witha miranated recipe on this sight. I thought the chicken was a little dry. I might try pounding it down next time. I definately will make again
