Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2006
I loved this recipe. I changed to a whole jar of banana pepper rings and added a sliced onion. I served it with provolone cheese. We toasted the sandwhiches under the broiler before serving. It was very good. There is a lot of juice left in the end that was great poured over the top of the sandwhiches. I will definitely make this one again. Thank you for the post.

Baked Oatmeal I

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2004
This was a wonderful recipe. My kids even ate it and they are picky. I did change a few things though. I only added 1/2 cup of white sugar and I also used applesauce instead of the oil. I didn't sprinkle any brown sugar on top, just the cinnamon. I also chopped up an apple and added it in addition to the rasins. It was wonderful. We ate it with a little butter and maple syrup on top. I also enjoyed it in a bowl with milk. Great recipe. I will defintiely make this one again.

Glazed Pork Chop

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2004
My husband and I loved this recipee. It is so easy. I used a little less water and I had to bake mine for 30 min, but they came out great. (I had bone in chops) I definitely will make this very quick and easy recipe again.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2004
This soup was excellent. We added shredded co-jack cheese, sour cream and corn tortilla chips when we ate it and it was great. We had enough left over for lunch the next day and to freeze for later. This soup is even better as left overs. The only thing I did differently was I only added 1 cup of water. We wanted it a little bit chunkier and it was great. I will definitely make this one again.

Linda's Fake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2004
This recipe was a great alternative for frying. I also took the skin off like another reviewer suggested. The chicken was still very moist. I think the crumb mixture does need a little bit more seasoning. I think next time I will try more garlic or maybe a cajun seasoning. I will definitely make this again though.

Pumpkin Sheet Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2004
This cake was very good and original. I too only used 1/2 the oil 3 eggs. I also cut back on the white and 10X sugar. The cake was still very sweet and my family loved it. I used pecans because we didn't have any walnuts and it was still delicious.

Salmon Cakes I

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2004
This recipee was very good. I don't like a strong salmon flavor in patties and the potatoes really helped remedy this. I added a little Italian bread crumbs for more flavor and that tasted exellent. I made fairly large patties and I ended up with 14 patties just from one can of salmon. This is definitely a recipee I will make again.

Easy Southern Biscuits

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2004
This is a good recipe when you are in a pinch for biscuits and are out of bisquick. They actually turned out very good. They had more of a roll consistency instead of biscuit, but they still tasted good with homemade gravy. I added a little bit of olive oil to give the biscuits a little more moisture as well.

This recipe was very good and satisfying. My family loved it. It is very heavy though, so have a hearty appetite when you prepare it.
