I used a dark chocolate fudge cake mix and 1/2 cup of strong coffee in place of the warm water. Then I added only 1 1/4 cup of chocolate chips, I used the rest of the chips to make the Satiny Chocolate glaze recipe from this site. The results were an extremely moist, deeply intense chocolate cake. Received rave reviews.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

This was so easy to make!!! I used a 4 cup glass measuring cup and did it in the microwave. I'm very impressed with the ease, taste and appearance of this glaze.

Mushroom Orzo

I wish that I could give this recipe more stars! I didn't have any pearl onions so I chopped up a Spanish onion. I replaced the water with a can of chicken broth. This recipe is a delicious and easy side dish.

German Spaetzle Dumplings

Cheeseburger Soup I

Very good, more like a ground beef chowder though. Since I had a slice of bacon I needed to use I chopped it up and added it to the beef and veggies. I also had 3 cups of beef broth leftover so I used that as well plus a can of chicken broth. Served with cheddar onion drop biscuits from this site makes a great lunch of dinner.

Microwave Popcorn

Super easy! I love popcorn but hate the chemicals and weird aftertaste in the store bought microwave popcorn. So when I came across this recipe I knew that I had try it and immediately I did! I used olive oil and it only took 2 minutes in my microwave. Perfect yummy popcorn, thanks for sharing this great method!

Pizza Casserole

This was a good way to use up some fusilli and jarred sauce that I got for free. I added fresh sliced mushrooms and used a mixture of red, green and yellow peppers. I placed half the pasta mixture into the dish, added a layer of cheese and the remaining pasta. After baking for 10 mins. I topped it with the rest of cheese. Great use of ingredients that I had on hand.

Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

I'm basing this review on my husband as I didn't try it. He loved the meatballs and has make the recipe twice. He freezes the leftovers in individual portions for quick lunches.

Dreamy Nighttime Drink

This is my favorite hot beverage, I remember my father making something similar for me when I was a little girl. I use lactose free milk and always get a great night sleep after drinking this creamy drink!

Zucchini Patties

I have made this recipe all summer! My advice is to salt and drain the shredded zucchini before mixing. I like to use cheddar cheese instead of the mozzarella. Sometimes I serve them with ranch dressing.

Spaghetti Pizza I

This is a great recipe! I used doubled the cheese and used a homemade meat sauce. For the topping I used pepperoni, mushrooms and thinly sliced red onion. Perfect!

School Lunch Bagel Sandwich

I loved the flavor combinations in this unique sandwich. I like to use whole grain deli thin sandwich bread and broil the cheddar cheese on the bread. I always eat this sandwich as soon as it's made. Not sure it would pack well.

Mike's Mushroom Bread

I have made this recipe twice, first time I sauteed the mushrooms and it was excellent. The second time I didn't but wished I had. This recipe is a great side for linguine and clam sauce.

Mayo-Free Tuna Sandwich Filling

I make this wonderful recipe a couple of times a week. The only thing I change is to omit the chili pepper and use a few shakes of Trader Joe's 21 seasoning salute. Then I pile the filling on a whole grain sandwich thin and melt muenster cheese on top under the broiler. This is my favorite way to enjoy tuna.
