Tiramisu Toffee Dessert

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2004
This was a very good alternative to the original tiramisu. I did mix the cream cheese, chocolate and sugar together and beat the whipping cream separately until stiff. I then gently folded the cream into the chocolate mixture. This created a creamy yet firm consistency. I think next time I will slice the pound cake thiner and make two layers of cake and icing. I will definitely make this recipe again.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
Delicious! The whole family loved it. I used Italian bread crumbs and also sprinkled a little garlic salt on the chicken before putting in the oven. After cooking for 20 minutes I turned the chicken over for the last 10 or 12 minutes to crisp up on both sides. Will definitely make again!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
I've been making this bread for 3 years and it is the very best! I use my Kitchen Aid to mix the dough and let it rise in the oven with the light on which seems to be just the right temperature. I do cut the amount of sugar in half. My son's love this warm with butter and cinnamon sugar. This is the ultimate treat for my 10 year old. He says, "mom you could sell this stuff".

Honey-Oat Pan Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
I made these for dinner tonight for my 'picky' family, and everyone loved them! They were very easy to make with my KitchenAid Mixer, however I did have to add more flour than the recipe called for. Will definitely be making these again!

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
Just ok...too salty and too mustard-y for my taste. Just add these two ingredients sparingly and add more to your taste as desired and the recipe will be fine. I will make these again, just less of these two ingredients.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
I made this to carry to a friend for dinner and she called the next day and wanted the recipe! The dressing is especially delicious. I omitted the poppy seed and used a little extra toasted sesame seed.....really good!

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
My very picky husband says these are the best cookies he's ever put in his mouth. I divided the dough in half and put nuts in half the batter. I baked two batches of the cookies and froze the remaining dough in individual cookie "balls" to have later. (otherwise we would have eaten the entire batch of cookies in a day or two.) Highly recommend this recipe!!

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
I have made this recipe several times and everyone LOVES it! I did double the dressing recipe but used only 1/2 cup sugar. I mixed 1/2 dressing with the pasta and mixed the remainder prior to serving. I do omit the onions just because I don't really like the flavor of raw onions. I blanched the broccoli and toasted the sunflower seeds. I also add the bacon a couple of hours prior to serving. DELICIOUS!!

Raspberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
This recipe was so-so. I made it for my Bible study and didn't taste it prior to the class. The others said they liked it but I didn't think it was that great. I used extra raspberry jam and held out 1 and one half of the topping. I also omitted the almond extract and used vanilla and a splash of lemon extract. I probably won't make this again.

Molasses Crinkles

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2013
I wish I had followed others advice and used butter rather than the shortening. The cookies were very dry as I was rolling them and they barely spread at all during baking. They have a very good flavor and I will make these again using butter.
