Creamy Hot Cocoa

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
I made this as a "warm up" for 14 three year olds and 6 mommys after sledding. This had a 100% success rate. (and the mommys asking for the recipe) I don't think you could get a better rating. This was made exact to recipe !

Best Bruschetta Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
I used 1/2 the amount of basil, 1/2 the amount of Parm (but really used romano, don't like the flavor of parm), let sit overnight. Toasted sliced french bread, then put on the tomato mixture with mozzarella and placed in oven to broil, just until a light golden color. VERY YUMMY. Already have had to share the recipe with others.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2006
THANK YOU !! This was INCREDIBLE !! A few minor changes...First of all, when I cook a turkey (about every other month) I make my own turkey stock and skim off all the fat. Freeze both for later use. So, I used turkey fat instead of butter and turkey stock instead of chicken broth (also only added the stock 1/2 cup at a time) I used cubed bread (2 lbs) I cut the night before and left out to "air dry" which will also affect the amount of liquid used. (Which ended up being only 2 cups) Don't like mushrooms or eggs so I left them both out. Cooked in the crock pot for 4 hours and EVERYONE was trying to figure out how I got so much stuffing out of my bird. Many "grama's" and "great grams" stated this was the BEST stuffing they EVER had.

Best Ever Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
Ok, the ONLY change I made to this recipe was that I added mini chocolate chips. They were beautiful, had an amazing texture, but the only flavor came from the chocolate chips. Definitely VERY bland. But, because I liked the texture and look so much, I will try different variations.

Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
I made this exactly to recipe. The only thing anyone in my family enjoyed was eating the cheesy fries off the top. Maybe I’m just a purest, because as far as we were all concerned, cheeseburgers and cheesy fries would have been much better.

Sugar-Free Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
This was so YUMMY !! A nice light frosting. I used chocolate pudding and also let the cream cheese soften on the counter for about 30 minutes first (to make it easier to work with). This has become a favorite. I’ve even noticed my husband swiping a finger full with every “walk-by”. Thank you for this recipe !
