Torsk

Make sure you use the paper towels as recommended- you don't want it to be wet when you broil it. We served it like lobster, with garlic butter. Wonderful!

Made as written, just put in a bit more soy sauce after tasting it. wonderful! it was hard to save it for the meatballs, I wanted to just eat it with a spoon. :)

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
Wonderful!!! I used bottled lemon juice and black pepper (fresh ground), because I had those on hand. The blending really makes the flavor of the spices come out, you can tell. I agree with a previous reviewer that it turns a funky color from blending- I thought that was kind of comical. Very very tasty, though!!

sooooo yummy... but as someone else said- grease the pan!!! that step seems to be missing and I'm chiseling out the yummy goodness now because I don't want to just soak it off and waste it. :)

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2007
Turned out great making a half batch in a loaf pan- great for when you just want a little bit and want to go back on your diet the next day! :) Turned out great at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.

Cheesecake Topped Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
They were very yummy, but the time/pan size seems to be off... in a 9x13 on 350 for 45 minutes the top was waaay too brown and the middle was not cooked.

Addictive Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
I used Splenda for baking- the kind that's half real sugar- and I only used 3 cups of it. These were great! I think I'll try using only 2 3/4 cup of the splenda/sugar next time, as I think that would still be plenty sweet.

Quinoa Side Dish

This was pretty good, but it had waaaaay too much onion in it! When I make it again, I'll use at least half the onion. Maybe even less. Otherwise, it was a good recipe.

Chicken Adobo II

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2002
This was pretty good- two things I'll do differently next time: 1. Cook it in the crock pot (We were wishing it was a bit more tender). 2. Add something to thicken the sauce into a gravy (flour or xanthan gum). I ended up grabbing some turkey gravy powder and throwing that in to thicken up the watery sauce, and that was good but pretty salty! Other than that, it had a wonderful flavor and I'll make it again!
