Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2011
Oh my goodness! This recipe is worth more than 5 stars! I made these burgers this evening...they were flavorful and moist! I did make some changes, I halved the recipe as the package of turkey was only a pound and a half. In addition, I used 2 cloves of garlic and 1/4 c of chopped onion as I love those flavors. I used a handful of parsley which I did not measure and one whole egg. I also used panko breadcrumbs 6TBS. In stead of salt and pepper, I used Montreal Steak seasoning within the mix and sprinkled lightly on each side when I put them on my outdoor propane grill. Thank you for this fantastic Turkey Burger recipe! This one is truely a keeper!

Aunt Anne's Sesame Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2011
These were delicious! They remind me of the sesame cookies you get at fine Italian Bakeries here in New Jersey. I made the recipe as written. I didn't however, form them in sticks. I dropped them using my cookie scoop and formed them into squarish balls . My great-aunt was over when I made these and even ask for the recipe! This is a great recipe that will be used again and again!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: May 23, 2011
The cupcake was very good! As the other reviewers have stated this only yields 24 cupcakes not the 48 as it states. I used Moist Yellow Cake Mix as that was all I had on hand. I also didnt have mini chocolare chips so i chopped some regular sized chocolate chips in the food processor. I will be making these again! Thanks for sharing!

This is a very decadent frosting! I used 3TBS Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa & 3TBS Dutch Processed Unsweetened Cocoa. I had to triple the recipe to frost 48 cupcakes. Will make again!

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
Very Very Very Yummy! I made this recipe twice...First, I followed it exactly to the instructions and it was good and I recieved many compliments. However, I did "tweak" it a bit and it made it super duper easy. I baked the brownies as specified...for the filling I used the pre-made chocolate pudding cups (that you find in the refridgerator section of the supermarket) and cool whip chocolate & creamy varieties. I layer the brownies, then the pudding, then the chocolate cool whip then the creamy variety and repeat.

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
This was a very easy and impressive dessert! I did make some changes... I made it in a 11 by 17 inch pan. I used 2 and 1/2 boxes of Blue Bunny Vanilla Ice cream Sandwiches. To assemble the dessert, I lined the ice cream sandwiches then mixed the chocolate & peanut mixture (I used Hershey Fudge and Chunky Peanut Butter). I then chopped 1 cup frozen Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I put a layer of Friendly's Vanilla Fudge Swirl Ice Cream. Next, repeat with Ice Cream Sandwiches and Chocolate Mixture. (Minus the Reese's) I piped on Cool Whip and put it in the freezer overnight. It was super easy! Thanks for a great base for a recipe!

Braided Easter Egg Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2008
Even better then your local bakery...I did make some changes to the recipe...I dyed the raw eggs for almost 24 hours. The color didn't not bleed. Just simply rinse them in water and pat them dry. I brushed the top of the bread before baking it with 2 tablespoons melted butter and one tablespoon honey that I heated in the microwave. I then sprinkled it with sprinkles for a feastive look. I only baked it for 35 minutes as 50 would have burned it crispy.I will definately make this again...even though it is somewhat time consuming! Thanks Luren N. for a great recipe!

Banana-Nut Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2007
This recipe was very easy to make. It baked up nicely and was very tasty. I followed the recipe directly except for the following: 1) I only had 2 brown bananas and I had to use 1 and a half green ripe bananas. I didn't mash them...I puree thm in a food chopper. 2) I didn't have crushed pineapple so I used a can sliced pineapple that I also ran through the food chopper to slightly chunky. This cake was very moist and tasted more like a cake then a bread. I didn't put an icing on it and don't think that I would. This is definately the way I will be using my brown bananas from now on!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2007
These brownies were very very good actually they were out of this world...however, I had to give it four stars as it was rather difficult to assemble. Like another reviewer suggested I baked half the brownie batter for 15 minutes...spread on the cheesecake mixture baked for 10 minutes followed by the rest of the brownie batter for 15 minutes...it was difficult to spread on a hot brownie...the top actually broke...If anyone comes up with a different method...please post...I will make this again...maybe I will be able to master it!

Hot Artichoke Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
This recipe is awesome...I made this recipe for my brother's graduation party...needless to say with in the 1st half hour it was gone... and guests were asking for the recipe...I did take the advice of other reviewers who suggested to chop the artichokes instead of putting it in the blender... I also added an extra 1/2 tsp of minced garlic...I used a 6x9 baking dish...once i spoon in the mixture and flattened it out I sprinkled on extra Parmesan & Mozzarella cheese...This recipe was supper easy to make and could be made when company comes unexpectantly granted you have the ingredients on hand...Thank you for such a great recipe Sherri D!
