I had to add my comments as my family devoured this dish tonite! After reviewing everyone's helpful hints, I compiled them all into one recipe: I liberally seasoned the chicken but added Italian seasoning and cooked the chicken with sliced garlic. I added mushrooms and sliced red pepper along with the asparagus and put in about 1 c of the chicken stock and shook in some dried red pepper flakes. Straining the vegetables from the liquid when they are crispy was also a good idea. I wanted to ensure the sauce was super tasty, so after I strained the veg from the broth I did mix in 1/2 c milk with the parm. (Some also added cream cheese for a thicker sauce - but I wanted to keep this recipe as healthy as possible). The end result was fabulous! A definite keeper!
